Sameth comes into Milliways holding a few different large pieces of metal that if you look at from the right angle look like bones.
Gaeta's leg is coming together but its trickier than he expected and he sits down at a table to stare at the parts in the hope that will help him see what's going to work best.
He does remember to order some mulled wine as sits with his sleeves rolled up and with the grime of his workshop on him.

Ichabod pauses on his way past to peer at Sameth's work, fascinated.

"I've never seen one like it. It has working joints?"

He moves forward to show how it will come together. Its simply made with Charter Marks in the surface and light.

"And these runic markings?"
His hand hovers over them, not touching.

"No need. I was curious, nothing more." He studies the leg. "What magic will be in this?"

"Where engineering might fail? Or instead of engineering?"

"Such as?" It's genuine interest, making him forget his manners.

"This is steel so its already fairly light, but these Marks make it strong and light. Its a spell that I first used for making mechanical birds but works well here."

"And, presumably, with less effort and wastage - and a better outcome - than attempting it with standard metalworking techniques." He nods, then looks faintly embarrassed. "Forgive my rudeness - Ichabod Crane."

"Pleased to meet you, Master Sameth. You are a craftsman beyond the... Charter, as well, then."

"The forge?" He tilts his head. "A well-run establishment. I met Teja."

"A way to pass the time and keep your skills sharp." Ichabod nods.

"What sort of things do you create most often?" he asks curiously.

"Whatever you are commissioned for?" Ichabod says, nodding.

"Your kingdom... has no other name but that? Unusual. And what is the Wallmaker's role?"
