For Matilda, it's been almost a week since she first learned she could move things with her eyes.
She's been practicing since then in Milliways, using the time without worrying about unwanted distraction or anything like that. Not that she really feared her parents if they found out, but she had a feeling if they did see her using her power, they'd only want to show her off to the newpapers to make money. Not the worst thing that could happen, but it would ruin her chances of succeeding with her plan in the first place.
Matilida's proud to say that she's getting much better at this. The first time she tried moving the cigar, she could maybe just lift it up a few inches, or have it roll off the table. Now she's able to not just lift it up in the air and hold it there, but she can move it around all she wants. Even better is that she can do it without getting too tired or dizzy.
She's at one of the tables now, the cigar infront of her moving up and down and to the side all in the air. She's actually attempting to spell out letters with the cigar, but as it's hard to really notice since there are no markings and to most it just looks like the cigar is moving at random angles all by itself.
She's still botherable of course. This is Milliways after all.

"Oh..what sort of creature are you?" Her voice is one of curiosity rather than disgust.

Instead, she uses her power to lift the cigar again, telling it to float right next to the strange creature.

Well, it wasn't meant to be, but who knew what green shellfish who could float were capable of eating.

Actually it wasn't, but it was hers for the duration of her time in the bar, so close enough.

"There he is!" declares an approaching sprite. "Is Minus making friends again?"
