William's bruises are now in the ugly yellow/green stage which means they'll be fading soon, but he still has to stay in Milliways. His arm is better, tender and at times, its not comfortable to move it in some ways, but better.
As the weather was beautiful today, he spent most of it outside with the horses and enjoying the sun in the midst of doing his chores. At one point, he ended up on a hay bale right next to the paddock reading a detective novel that Jay had told him about.
When it got dark, he moves inside to get a good dinner and keep reading by the fire as the clear sky meant it was getting cold. Along with the book, he has a small notebook that he's been using for figuring out what he needs to do to make certain Mark ends up in the best school. He's also glancing around to see if his father is around as he's been worried about him encountering that other Ben Wade.
