Jay comes in from the lake looking a bit rough. There’s dirt all over his jacket and the knees of his jeans, a scrape on his cheek and a split lip.
And a massive grin on his face.
He heads to the bar and grabs a towel, cleaning himself up and grabbing a bottle of water. Well, test-riding the new bikes was fun!

Even blood from a split lip.
"Good evening, Jay. Enjoying yourself, I see?"

He is staring a little, but mostly it's because he is trying to pick out where the blood scents are coming from. Smelling the air.
He is a surprised at feeling a little excited about seeing the bike. He shouldn't get excited about things like that. Especially considering where it is coming from.

He nods towards the door and grins. "So, want to see it?"
no subject
He doesn't like feeling conflicted.

"And for your riding pleasure, it has all the toys." He leans over it to touch the control panel.
"For looking good and being seen." At the flick of a switch, the cowling pattern out in the Fangtasia's red and black.
"For night riding." Shift again and now it's shiny and black and very sleek.
"And for not being seen at all," One more shift and it's a matt mottle of greys and greens and blacks that seem to drink the light, making it almost invisible, especially at speed.

He claps Jay's back, as he exclaims, "That is great." A little too hard perhaps. And then he is touching the bike, flipping the switches.
He looks like a child with a new toy.
He looks alive.

"That's not all." He grins and leans in to play with other buttons. "Okay, so this one gives you a heads up display in the helmet I built to go with it. It'll pick up the frequencies of CCTV cameras and and gives a rough idea of their field of vision. It's not perfect so don't get too close just in case. This," he pulls something that looks like a small flashlight. "Is an EMP flash. Aim it at the cameras and they're down for an hour at least. The battery life sucks and I'm working on that but it'll take out three before it needs recharging. Should give you a window of privacy anyway."
"Also, there's a cut out for the stealth stuff so if you get pulled over or someone wants to check it for road-legal issues, nothing post-production will show up. Including the override on the speed-limiter. I clocked her out at 250kph but that's where I lost it. You've got better reflexes."
no subject
When Jay mentions reflexes, he turns his head and grins at him.
"That I do. Shall we see how fast I can make it go?"
He likes the sneaky stuff. And he loves the way it looks . Menacing and sleek and deadly. You can practically taste his eagerness.

"Well, you've been having a good time."

She does miss her bike sometimes, though.
"Too creative or too rusty?" She asks, sounding amused, as a glass of clear alcohol appears at her crossed feet.

"Ugh, French, that's not even hard." She grumbles at the furniture, and lets Bar take the glass back. "Your friend better be as capable as you believe him to be, or it will be a very... exciting gift."
no subject
He raises an eyebrow at the glass. "Having trouble finding something to drink?"

She doesn't need to ask how he got it - she's fallen off plenty of bikes in the last twenty five years.
