Like many User holidays, Mother's Day, while not native to his world, seems like a very sound idea to Enzo. The only bug in the situation is that he doesn't have one.
That's not to say the role isn't filled. He spent a good chunk of yesterday with the Fentons, helping to pamper his future mother-in-law. He vidwindowed Dot, who raised him, and AndrAIa, the mother of the first Enzo Matrix's child. It was a full and fulfilling day.
Nevertheless, today finds him in Milliways, staring pensively at a plate of cookies. (He's eating them, but slowly.)

And sometimes when he's pensive and eating, Lucas knows he'd like some friendly company.
"Hey Enzo," he says, coming over from the bathrooms after cleaning up for a meal.

"Well, food's gotta lotta meanings," Lucas mentions.
So I've noticed. It is more than mere physical sustenance.

He shakes himself back to the here and now. "Sorry. It's nothing," he says unconvincingly. (He does not wish to upset Lucas with talk of mothers.)

"Y'want company or should we get lost?"

And then, with a bit of a laugh, he goes, "I dunno what kind of cookies I want. Must be all kinds of cookies here."

When he waves over a waitrat and asks, he ends up getting a plate of chocolate chip potato chip cookies. He looks it over, poking at the ridged things sticking out from the cookie.
He shrugs, takes a bite, and has to keep himself from laughing at the strange but nice taste.

And crunchy from the sound of them, too.
"Wonder who thought these up?"

Not that he won't finish the cookie in his hand. But he should order some real food, too.
"So how've ya been besides today? I've been pretty good since last time. I made friends with someone who taught me this meditation thing that might help the next time something like that happens."

It does bring his number of jokes up to two, though.

He digs in his pocket and passes Enzo a spinning top toy, which you can spin with your fingers.

Spinnnnn.

He puts his head on the table and watches it spin.

"It actually does kind of help," Enzo says after a while.
