The front door opens to 2014 Chicago and in walks one very surprised immortal.

Dressed in a grey skirt suit caring a a brief case she walks up to the bar, takes a seat and a bright blue smoothie appears. Amanda puts down the suit case and picks up the smoothie and takes a sip, "I almost forgot what this tastes like."

Turning towards the bar Amanda watches the patrons.

"Does it taste of blue?" Guppy asks, sitting next to her.

Amanda laughs, "Actually it tastes like citrus."

She sets it down bounds off the stool and gives him a hug.

Guppy gives her a big hug back.

"How are you keeping?"

"I am keeping well." grinning like an idiot, or as close as she gets.

"How are you and the family keeping?"

"We're doing good, thanks." Guppy grins back. "Fry and Coral are enjoying school, Brooke's keeping the upper hand at nursery. Fran joined a gym to try and stop people asking her if she's still pregnant since having Brooke, but she's doing well too."

"I'm glad you're doing well." gesturing at a table, "Lets have a seat."

Guppy sits with her.

"I feel we've reached a sort of equilibrium." he says. "I've just started my first permanent consultant post, and I'm getting the hang of juggling the different personalities of the kids."

"If anyone can figure it out I'm certain it would be you."

She takes another sip of the smoothie. "I've managed to stay out of trouble since the last time I was here. At least from my point of view." it's all a little confusing even for her.

"You, out of trouble?" Guppy teases. "Did you go on holiday?"

"As a matter of fact I did, but what does that have to do with anything." she chuckles, "Also, I figured that it was time for a change so I've gone respectable ... well mostly."

"How have you gone respectable?"

"I don't steal anymore, well mostly not anymore, I do need to practice, but I always return the items." chuckling, "Sometimes returning the item without getting caught is more difficult then the original theft. But I've become a writer ... author anyway." she bares the warmest of smiles, "A new beginning."

"That's fantastic!" Guppy gives her a hug. "What sort of writing are you doing?"

"They say write what you know, so I'm writing romance novels." she chuckles, "Perhaps next lifetime I'll try my hand at fantasy."

"Fantastic! When you finish, I'm sure Fran would enjoy reading it." Guppy says. "I'll have a go but it's not the genre I tend to read..."

"Next time I come in I'll bring a copy." with a satisfied grin, "I'm on my fourth book." indicating the briefcase.

"Oh wow, you're a proper professional author." Guppy says, dutifully impressed.

"Do you do kids' books?"

Amanda beams at his approval.

"Not yet, my books are certainly not approved for young readers. Perhaps I will try." for Guppy's kids she would be willing.

"Fry's up to chapter books, Coral is reading a little too." Guppy says, grinning. "You don't have to if it's not your thing though."

"You know me, I'm always up for a challenge."

"We'd enjoy reading it."
