Ivan sighs as he enters Milliways instead of his apartment, he might have had a chance at seeing Tej. He's glad she has her family back but they don't want him and he's worried about whatever they're planning. Simon might think he has it all under control, but they're Jacksonian and their plans have plans.

At the Bar, he orders a glass of wine, unbuttons his uniform collar and stares at the wine for a while. Nothing seems to be working right, he won't be able to convince Tej to stay before she's gone and Ops is full of stupid people giving him even more work.

Hank is having a hard time focusing as he writes in a journal. His mind keeps bouncing between ideas of a more efficient fuel for the blackbird, ideas for his formula to control his mutation, and other potential compounds; which will be reflected in the molecular drawings he's made as well as the math to support them. At least it's all chemistry right?

He looks up when he notices someone sitting nearby and takes a moment to decide if he needs a break.

"Hello," he says finally. "Ivan wasn't it?"

"Hank," he says offering a hand. "Hank McCoy. I bumped into you, nearly literally, a while back."

"A few," Hank admits. "Perhaps a few too many. I'm trying to work on a more efficient jet fuel formula but keep getting other ideas."

"Very volatile," Hank agrees. "But safe enough with precautions. I wish I could figure out a way to make it inert while it was being stored but I haven't the time to work on a new formula. It is something to think about, though."
