Baldrick leaves the kitchen. There's enough clean dishes to last the rest of the night.
He grabs a beer and a packet of kettle chips, and sits down to relax.

He bites his lip. "Um... that last batch of cider. I kinda put it to good use after you left last week. Hope that's ok."
no subject
"Though...I hope you didn't drink it all yourself. 'cos that barrel was a big bugger and no mistake."

He takes a sip of beer.
"So... you wouldn't be averse to trying some one night?"

He bites through the toothpick finally, and discards the two halves in a nearby ashtray.
"So what else have you been up to?"

He munches on a chip. "How 'bout you? How's things with the girlfriend?" He winks and nudges Indy with his elbow.

"Lorelai and I are great thanks. Going from strength to strength, though she was devastated about Charlie. Pretty shitty deal that."

He sips his beer, silent for a little while.
"Anyway! You must introduce me to her sometime! Is she of the drink/nuts/hemp persuasion too?"
no subject
"I'll be sure to introduce you both though... for sure. She's amazing," he smiles.

He finishes the last of his pint, and wipes his mouth. "Ah, lovely. Well, it's getting late...at least it is in London time, which is what I'm still on! So I guess I'll have to 'love you and leave you'!"

Indy gives the little guy a friendly wink as he departs.

"Hello again Baldrick! I've got the pies, where should I put them?"
*Easter is beaming, she is very proud of herself*

"Well, the apple pie and the peach should be kept warm, but the Key lime and the chocolate mousse should be cool, the pumpkin and the pecan ones are sort of whichever way you like it. I just need a place to put them so that people can have some."

Oh, and I've made a nice turnip pie as well if'n people want something a little more savoury!"
no subject
"Oh, yes, that's fantastic I rather like turnips. I also have a quiche that I forgot about. I think we have all the bases covered."
[ooc: I'm gonna go get dinner and pie now, I'll be back in a bit do what ever you want.]

He rushes into the kitchen, and returns a few minutes later with a tray piled high with spoons, forks, bowls, plates, napkins, and his turnip pie. There's also a dish-warming device - he's not quite sure how it works, as they didn't have things like that in 1798, but it's a long metal-and-ceramic implement that the warm pies can rest on and not get cold.
He grabs a spare table, and arranges it all nicely.
He beams. "There we go! All set!"

*Easter sets up the warming plates with ease and helps him set up the pies attractively. Last, but not least she sets a sign in place (http://www.livejournal.com/community/milliways_bar/2629983.html/) announcing to all the reason behind the presence of the pies this night.
"Thank you so much Baldric. I couldn't have done it with out your help."
