Cyborg is just sitting at the observation window. Lost in thought. So lost that he doesn't even have a milkshake or a burger or anything else today. Feel free to ask him what's on his mind.

"Hey, Cy. What's up?

[says_the_booyah]

"Hey, Enzo. Pull up a seat." Cy makes himself smile. Good thing that comes naturally to him.

[a1enzo]

Enzo does so.

"You were brooding."

[says_the_booyah]

"I don't brood. Robin and Raven brood. I was just thinking." So he says.

[a1enzo]

Uh-huh. "So, what were you thinking about?"

[says_the_booyah]

"The future. I'm halfway through college. And I'm not a teen anymore." Something he doesn't share widely. "Guess I don't count as a Teen Titan now."

[a1enzo]

"Mmm." One could argue that if it's the official group name, his actual age doesn't matter, but Enzo knows that's not the point. "Any plans, or is that what you were thinking about?"

[says_the_booyah]

"I figure I should think about a real job. Only...well, being a hero still feels like a job. But I went to college for a reason.

"So I guess I am not sure. At all." Seems simpler two years ago.

[a1enzo]

"It's more complicated for Users. Guardian is my job, I've got a salary and everything." Not much of one, but that's neither here nor there. "What's your major?"

[says_the_booyah]

"Engineering and physics. Next semester, that will be all I take. No more core classes." Which is a relief.

[a1enzo]

"So, you'll be some kind of engineer? Design stuff?"

[says_the_booyah]

"At least for the team. Maybe for STAR Labs. If I decide I can work there." There is a note of concern in Cy's voice.

[a1enzo]

Enzo looks attentive and waves his hand in a circle. Yeeeeees?

[runningred]

"Hey Cy." Jay flops down opposite him, watching the strange dance of colours out the window.

[says_the_booyah]

"Hey, Jay. Whassup?" Cy lets the pensive face go.

[runningred]

"Not a whole lot, mate." He props his feet up on a chair. "How about you? You looked like you were auditioning to become a Bat."

[says_the_booyah]

"That bad? Believe me, I am not a Robin-class brooder." It's an art form with Robin. "Just thinking about my life and my future. Nothing major."

[runningred]

"Not quite. You need to work on the furrowed brow and the thousand yard stare but it had potential, as far as broods go."

"Ah, the existential crisis brood. I know it well." Jay nods sagely before becoming more serious. "Anything you want to talk about? The offer's there."

[says_the_booyah]

"Just what I'm going to do after college is over. I'm halfway through. And that means I need to start planning." He decides to not get the Robin stare any time soon.

[runningred]

"Yeah, I guess professional heroing only works out for the very rich." He muses, mostly to himself. "What do you want to do?"

[says_the_booyah]

"In theory, engineering. Been doing it for years without the degree.

"But that would mean a lot of changes to my life. And I'm not about to quit being a Titan." In some ways, he's already a professional hero.

[runningred]

"Sometimes the piece of paper helps open doors. Or so I'm told. Never made it as far as collage myself." Never even finished high school.

"What sort of engineering do you have in mind?"

[says_the_booyah]

"Something at the high tech end of things. Spacecraft, bullet trains, STAR Labs kind of stuff.

"And that's also a problem," he adds with a frown.

"Worried STAR labs might be more interest in your tech than the tech you can design?" He asks, a little pointedly.

[says_the_booyah]

"Worried my dad hasn't retired yet," he answers flatly.
