EP
OOM: Now the real work begins.
The armored figure that comes through the door to Milliways pauses just past the threshold. The outfit rather screams SITH!!! at 90 decibels, and it's not something she was planning on wearing in Milliways, but since she's here.....
Well, she could use a drink and some company while she plans out how to deal with the latest curve ball her Master's plans have thrown her.
(OOC: Open for tags until I give her another EP)

She can feel the attention from the street urchin before she sees him. "Hello," she says with a gentle smile. "I haven't seen you around here before."

A drink, but Ibani will sneakily pick up the tab for any food the boy wants. She remembers being hungry all too well.

This girl is interested in the armor, though, and wonders where she can get a set like that. It looks proper scary, and it might even be magic resistant to boot. She has seen armored people walk in from world more blessed by technology than her own, and some of those woulds have moved well beyond metal platemail and its glaring vulnerability to magic. Most seem to be either that strange plastic material or strangest of all, ceramics.
She approaches for a closer look, if for nothing else.

She catches sight of the young woman watching her and gives her a friendly smile. "Hello."
The armor is metal, among other things, but not like anything from her world. Whatever it's made of, it's not especially vulnerable to magic.

Mmm... delicious soup.
"Hello," she greets back. "That is weird looking armor. It looks tough and flexible, though," she says.
no subject
"I need it to be flexible and tough, with the kinds of things I get into." Considering the acrobatics involved in combat between Force users, bulky and stiff would get you killed in a hurry.
no subject
"What kind of things do you get into?" Sarah asks, innocently enough. "And what are those things sticking out of your gauntlets?"
Okay, maybe not so innocent. She knows her way around armor.

"I wish I had armor like that. I bet it would be enough to scare those stupid Phoenix gang thugs away." But then they wouldn't sneak up to her and get themselves killed. Hmmm. "I don't think it would scare away the zombies, but at least punching them wouldn't hurt so much."
Curiously, her knuckles don't look bruised, cut, or scarred at all. "I don't usually have to actually punch them; I cast spells on them that make them fall apart."
no subject
"Zombies? I've never heard that word before."

Still, the city could wait. If ever there was a time for mazte in mid-day, it was this one.
He glances briefly at the masked shadow figure at the door before turning his attention back to the matter in front of him. Namely, the bottom of his glass.

That's when she feels Garyn's presence and turns unerringly to face his way. "Garyn!" she calls out joyfully. "My unexpected visit here is looking up already."

"Much easier to pull off an act in the right costume, and this provides much better protection than my robes."
"Had an unexpected windfall and picked up armor for me, and for you. Yours is different than mine, tougher and heavier, like the kind our front-line troopers use. Would have brought it with me if I'd known I was going to wind up here."
no subject
He nods, his eyes widening and his grin broadening.
"Whatever I've done to deserve you, I ought to do it more often."
no subject
Ibani's grin broadens. "Well, I couldn't let you visit my world without a proper welcoming gift, especially if you plan to stick close to me." Which is likely to result in things trying to kill him with extreme prejudice.
Her grin sharpens as she remembers recent events. "Want to hear my good news?"
no subject
"I wouldn't dream of straying too far."
He raises an eyebrow. "Good news?"
It would make for a welcome change.

"I killed Darth Skotia," she elaborates. "He certainly wasn't expecting 'slave filth' like me to succeed at that." She's rather pleased with herself for pulling that off. She doesn't feel bad about killing him, not after what he tried to do to HER.
"I was worried for a while that we weren't going to get away with it, but my emergency plan of having Khem Val hold off the authorities long enough for me to flee to Milliways turned out not to be necessary." She's forgotten that she hasn't told Garyn about who and what Khem Val is yet.
