[oom: The Iron Scorpions rally round Bonnie, but she gets the feeling it's not quite over.]

Bonnie had hoped that John might stay at hers, but he sloped off as soon as the bikers left, and once again the house returned to its lonely, over-quiet state.

She'd gone out into the back yard for a while, to carry on building the epic chicken enclosure from the junk, because there's something vaguely entertaining about seeing them nesting in the inside of old television sets.

At the moment she's at a booth, gluing thin wooden pieces onto a longer block to make a ladder up to the henhouse.
