First Dash of awesome

Well, there seems to be a new pony around, and she's not happy to be away from her home. The blue and rainbow creature is flying above trying to figure out what the hay is going on. She's not getting anywhere fast.

When she sees someone down bellow, Dash is going to fly down and get all up in there face. "Hey, buddy, what the hay is this?" ... and if you're not also a pony? Well then it will be followed up with... "And what kind of pony are you?! Did you bring me here?"

(ooc, so my intro! I hope this works. Sorry about her in your face ways. He's just confused and it's easier to be like this for her. She's really a nice pony, honest!)

Ellen's changed into her clothes by now, a blue and gold jumpsuit with the number '101' across most of her back. Armor saves lives, but it itches. She's out back with her canine companion, a black and grey dog with one blue eye, one brown eye, when the moving blue and rainbow streak catches her attention.

"Um," she says. "Hi there? I don't... it wasn't me."

Dash is going to be looking Ellen up and down, still flying in the air. She notices the dog, but isn't a real fan of them like fluttershy is. "Then what do you know? Don't you know what kind of pony you are? Why don't you have a tail?"

"I"m a human, not a pony," says Ellen; she's met one or two other ponies here, enough to be able to ... well, mostly... deal with them. "Humans don't have tails- we're like apes. And this is Milliways, not... Equestria, right? You're from Equestria? All the ponies I've seen here are."

"Human, huh? Likely story." That was between her believing and not believing. Dash was confused, but since she was the only pony...

BUT WAIT! Dash brightened up when the other spoke of Equestria! "Yeah! I'm from Equestria! Who else is here?! Where can I find them?" Well, since the other was seeming to be helpful now, RD will loosen up a bit. "Ah, sorry, my name's Rainbow Dash. What's yours, human?"

[aaaaaaaagh_sky]

"Oh- well, I know Twilight Sparkle is here- the purple unicorn, with all the magic?" says Ellen. "And I think I've seen a yellow pegasus with a pink mane around here a few times, although not recently. There was definitely a pink pony making breakfast here yesterday, though. Does that help at all?"

She smiles. "My name's Ellen. This is Dogmeat," she says. "He doesn't talk, although he understands a lot."

"Twilight? Awesome!" She makes a tight happy loop in the air. "That's great. She'll be able to to me everything. The others might be Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie too! This is so awesome! I'm not alone!" She does a little happy dance before calming herself down and acting cool.

"I mean, yeah, that's good. I'm sure they'll need me" Yeaaaaaah, she's so smooth, right? ANYWAY. "Hey Ellen, Dogmeat. Sorry about before. So, um, what exactly are humans?" She's looking down at her hands specifically at the moment. "What do those do?"

"It's okay," says Ellen. "You're new here. Being startled like that can change things." She smiles.

"Oh- we're, um. We're... like I said, we're kind of like apes- I'm not sure if you have those in Equestria, do you?- and we usually walk on two feet. These-" She holds up her hand. "You know how unicorns can levitate stuff around with their magic, and I guess the other ponies can pick stuff up with their hooves? We use our hands to do that. Most of us don't have magic, either. I mean, some people do, but there's nobody at all back home who does."

"I've never seen an ape before, actually. I think Fluttershy mentioned one before though." She just shrugged. OH! Look at that thing that she holds up. Hands are really interesting things. Dash reaches out and touches her hoof to the palm of the hand before pulling away. "oh? That's cool. I can pick up lots of things with my hooves. Or my teeth. Or my wings." She's already getting cocky about said wings. "I can do amazing things with my wings."

"The fact that you can fly at all is pretty amazing as far as I'm concerned," Ellen says. "Humans can't do it without building machines to hold them up. What other kind of stuff can you do with yours?"

"All kinds of things! I'm the best flier around Ponyville. That's where I live in Equestria. I practice all the time. I can do loops, flips, dives, all kinds of things! What I'm best known for is my Sonic Rainboom though. It's where I go so fast, that a sonic boom and a rainbow happen all at the same time! I've even done it for a royal wedding! That was the best wedding ever." She's clearly feeling very happy to tell anything about herself to Ellen.

"An actual- wow," says Ellen, and whistles. "I've never seen or heard anything going that fast. Is that some kind of superpower of yours, or just a special move?"

"It's my ultra special move! A lot of ponies just called it a ponytale because no one could remember when it had ever been done. But when I was just a little filly, I did it and proved that the tales were true! That's how I got this awesome cutie mark." Dash shows it off with a spin and a grin. "The best cutie mark ever."

"Calm yourself, young Rainbow Dash!
There is no need your teeth to gnash,
though I should not blame you if this place does amaze.
You have found your way to Milliways,
or perhaps I should say it has found you.
It does seize one out of the blue."

It is going to take Dash a minute to decode what Zecora was saying, but she got it... eventually. Kinda....

"Um, what?" Nope actually she didn't get anything from that. "What about blue?"

"This place, I mean, takes one by surprise,
but is no cause for hues and cries.
A magical doorway you have passed through,
and to Equestria bidden adieu.
This place, with its clientele so diverse,
is Milliways, at the end of the Universe."

Okay, so again Dash kind of blanked on the first part of whatever Zecora said, but she got the last part.

"Milliways, huh? Are you the only other pony here? I mean, am I the only pony here?" Dash always called most every creature in Equestria that talked a pony so yeah. At lest she recovered? "You're the first from Equestria I've see."

"We are not the sole equines here, no.
Twilight Sparkle and Pinkie Pie come, I know,
and even Miss Trixie. Others, maybe,
but we are well outnumbered by the apes, as you see."

"Twilight and Pinkie Pie!? That's awesome!" She just made a face when Zecora mentioned Trixy. Dash just found her annoying no matter if the pony had a better attitude or not.

"Apes? Is that what those ponies walking on two legs are called? They look so strange. What can you tell me about them?" Dash would try extra hard to listen. She flew a little to help that out too, but wasn't sure if Zecora would understand why. "I'm just flying so I can remember what you said. I'm still listening!}

The only reason that Dash followed any of what Zecora just said was because she was flying. Still, some of the words went over her head. She tried to fill things in as best she could.

"Wait, WHAT?! What do you mean mere beasts?!"

"As monkeys in our world, so our kind in theirs—
unintelligent creatures, so Twilight declares.
There are some in a stable here, but I admit
I have not yet had the nerve to go visit it."

Dash just kind of stares. She doesn't like this world at all. "Well, why are we here? What are we supposed to be doing?"

"An answer to that, alas, is remote.
All here appear to be in the same boat."

Pinkie knows that voice!

PINKIE KNOWS THAT VOICE.

Whoever Dash was trying to talk to gets a respite as Pinkie tackles her. "YOU'RE HERE. RAINBOW DASH, YOU'RE HERE!"

TACKLE IS SUPPER EFFECTIVE! Dash and Pinkie tumble to the ground, Pinkie landing on top. For once though, Dash is really happy for it. Well, minus the yelling in her face. Dash could REALLY do without the yelling in her face.

"PINKIE! YES! I'M HERE! I AM RIGHT WHERE WHEREVER HERE IS! SO STOP YELLING!" Yep. It's totally logical to solve yelling with yelling.

Pinkie's still all sprawled from the Super Effective Tackle and, naturally, she's talking a mile a minute, so Dash's protests go totally ignored for a second. "I don't believe you're here! Can you believe you're here?! I TOTALLY can't believe you're here..." GASP. "DO YOU MEAN THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME?"

Dash just sighs and rolls her eyes. Some things would never change. That's okay though. Pinkie Pie was Pinkie Pie. She just pushed the other off her as she rambled on and made sure she was sitting right instead of falling over from the push. There, now Dash could fly again.

"Uh, yeah, duh. Where is here?"

Pinkie finally stops her rambling and

"Oh Dash - here is the best here anypony can be!" Pinkie says. "PREPARE. TO FEEL. PUMPED."

Then she sings this entire song. She even throws in some exra dance moves, because it's Dash.

Silly Pinkie Pie. You should know that songs with information in them just fly right over Dash's head. She is rocking her head to the beat though. "That was an awesome song, Pinkie Pie!"
