The last of the harvest was got in before the rain started in earnest and Will enters smiling in a shirt so wet its clinging to his skin and wheat chaff and rain in his hair. At the counter, he gets a towel, a pint of beer and a plate of bread, cheese and meat then heads to the fire to dry off and eat.

Tonight will be fun as they've planted most of what needs planting and harvested enough to do well going into the autumn. There's more to do but for now, there's time to enjoy not having to be out in the rain.

"I knew you were hot but you're actually steaming." Minx laughs, picking a ear of wheat from his hair.

[will_scarlett]

"Oh aye, ye'll 'ave to dry me off," He turns enough to kiss her hand.

Minx laughs and kisses the tip of his nose. "That would require getting you out of your wet things."

[will_scarlett]

"Aye, it would, but I'm 'avin' dinner first, join me," It takes another little turn as he tries to get his arm near her waist.

She laughs and lets him pull her closer. "Better be careful or you'll get me all wet too." She gasps, realising what she's just said, covering her mouth with a giggle. "I didn't mean it like that!"

"That was the idea," Once he has a decent grip on her, he tugs her into his lap.

[myshootingstar]

She doesn't fight him but falls into his lap with a playful squeal. "Cad!" She mutters, swiping his shoulder playfully.

[will_scarlett]

"Outlaw. Now tell me all ye've been up to, missed ye," He kisses her on the side of her lips as he helps to get comfortable.

[myshootingstar]

"Scoundrel. Miss you too." She teases, kissing his nose and stealing a bite from his plate. "Not much. Working mostly. I have a big fashion show coming up that I should be focusing on but the car I'm building is almost finished so I'm spending more hours in the workshop than the gym."

"You look well, Mister Scarlett," Sherral notes amicably as he passes. He glances quickly at the wheat in his hair. "Harvest?"

[will_scarlett]

"Aye, a good one. 'ow are ye doin'?" he gestures to a seat near him if Sherral wants to sit.

Sherral sits down, with the attendant awkwardness that seems to set in whenever he's required to break with rigid formality. "I've been well. I had a rather - taxing mission recently, but it's over now."

"What 'appened?" He knows how all it takes is one thing to go bad and everything can fall apart.

"Bandits. Horse monsters. Everyone on the airships we were sent to rescue being dead. Said dead people still moving around."

[will_scarlett]

"That sounds awful, dead people shouldn't be movin'."

[fluffiest_archadian]

"It's - always unpleasant, aye," Sherral says levelly.

[will_scarlett]

"Were ye able to get 'em to stay dead?"

[fry_sandhu]

"You're wet." Fry informs him, from where he's sitting on a rug near the fire, building a series of same sized cubes from Lego.

[will_scarlett]

"Aye, I got rained on. What are ye buildin'?"

[fry_sandhu]

"I'm making some cubes." Fry says. "I was going to make a dodecahedron but I didn't have enough bendy bits."

[will_scarlett]

"'rhaps ye could get more from Lady Bar."

[fry_sandhu]

"I don't think Lego bends that way." Fry says. "Unless Bar has special Lego."

[will_scarlett]

"Oh aye, but there might be somethin' else that bends an fits with it."

[fry_sandhu]

Fry goes up to the bar, and is presented with a number of bits. And, as an afterthought, some instructions.

He brings them back and looks at them. Hm. Might have bitten off more than he can chew here.

"Can I be o'aid?" It looks confusing to Will.
