Another new semester. Some perky new kid was already counting down the days until Christmas in the school office, to Bonnie's amusement.
She comes in tonight, with a bag of eighth grade marking to do. Before they get to start building interesting stuff, there's the mandatory part of learning how to safely use power tools, but in the meantime she can at least set them design homework.
The task was relatively straightforward - design something that could be powered by one or more springs - and usually generates something entertaining. Currently she's looking at a picture of some sort of... hair comb launcher or something. But hey, they got the application of the spring correct, so that works for her.
