Thank goodness the infirmary is now free of psychopaths.

Guppy looks suitably relieved. And as such, he's sprawled out on a sofa, with his headphones on, a bowl of marshmallows, a hot chocolate, and the Holby Gazette crossword.

"I probably need to anyway," Dorian says as he watches the vampire lady approach.

Guppy peers over the back of the chair.

"Oh we are so not diving in there, we'll get crushed."

He looks around for someone Security-like.

"Oh, fuck," Dorian says, peering at the scene which is escalating at great speed. "Duck! They're none of them human! We must hide!"

Guppy ducks, looking around for someone they can get.

"Well Eric can hold his own, I don't know about the other two..."

Dorian ducks as well, but soon peers over the back of the sofa.

"Oh shit," he breathes. "Oh shit! He's using silver on the vampires -- that thing is not human!"

He flinches, and then hides again.

"They're breaking their faces -- bloody hell, what am I seeing?"

Guppy gets out his stun gun ready to fire off some quick shots. But then Thor shows up, and he holds off.

"Fuck me in chocolate!!" Dorian breathes, gaping at Thor. "Who is that?"

Beat.

"Pardon my French."

"I'm not sure. Thermoman?"

"Never heard of him," Dorian says. "He's not human either!"

He ducks, and looks at Guppy.

"Sorry about that!"

"Well he came out the office... oh there's the badge, looks like he's getting there."

Dorian stifles a giggle as Thor lifts up the drug-fiend or whatever he is.

"Definitely getting there," he says. "That fellow has some serious muscle!"

[guppy_sandhu]

"Yeah, he'll come in handy on Security." Guppy says. "I'll have to go chat to him some time, find out what we can do in case this bloke becomes a problem."

"Are there often very problematic customers like that?" Dorian asks, standing up again and offering Guppy a hand.

[guppy_sandhu]

Guppy accepts the hand.

"Oh yes. They tend to shake down in time. Or succumb to a bigger fish."

"Like the shiny hero?" Dorian asks, pulling Guppy to his feet again.

[guppy_sandhu]

"Yes, or a bigger bastard."

[capture_eternity]

"There are worse than that?" Dorian asks.

[guppy_sandhu]

"Sure. But don't worry about it."

"Perhaps I should," Dorian says. "What is bigger and badder than that insane demonic drug fiend`?"

"Dracula? The Slenderman? That shark who knocked on the door and ate people? The zombies?"

"Oh, slowly, please," Dorian says. "Zombies are resurrected dead from the voodoo cults of the Caribbean, but of the rest, I've never heard."

"Then pull up a chair, Dorian, and I'll tell you some stories."

So Dorian orders them drinks, and then just listens.-
