Okay. It's possible to do this.

After falling over some of the stuff cluttering up her hallway, Bonnie has dragged five boxes of stuff into the bar and is now attempting to go through them. Even five is a start, right?

She's currently looking at the first box, at a collection of spark plugs. Well they're bound to come in handy. And these screws, well you always need screws. And this giant spring - now that could be used for one of her classes...

Ah. She digs out a broken metal toy car from the bottom, gets out a screwdriver from her pocket, and reattaches the fourth wheel properly. She gives it a spin.

"Anyone want a free toy?" she calls out, putting the little car on the table in front of her, and then continuing going through the box.

There is actually a toddler in the bar who looks at the toy car with great fascination.

"Well hey there little guy." Bonnie says.

Toddlers aren't her forte - they're cute and all but she doesn't have a lot of experience in handling them.

"You wanna come help me rebuild this wireless... oh wait, you want the car." she pulls it back and it rolls towards Egil.

"Car!" Egil says. "Vroom, vroom, vroom!"

He babbles more, excitedly, but that's completely incomprehensible.

"Yeah somethin' like that." Bonnie grins, and arranges some of the stuff to make a little tunnel for him to drive through.

Egil babbles more, very earnestly, and drives the car through the tunnel.

One of the words he says might be 'lights'.

"Don't think I got no working lights in here." Bonnie says.

With his car in one hand, and a random piece of machinery in the other, Egil mimes a crash, going "Bomm, bomm!"

"Oh no, we don't want crashin'." Bonnie says. "We want it to go faster."

She looks around for an attached parent, in case someone is about to call her a bad influence.

"Fast!" the toddler says, cheerful. "Vroom, vroom!"

"You got a mommy or a papa here?" Bonnie asks, putting some of the sharper objects back in her box.

"No!" he says.

"Who's lookin' after yer then?"

"Teja!"

"Ahh, so you're the little prince then." Bonnie winks at him.

"Rinse?" Egil says, puzzled.

He looks at the toy car in his hand.

"Your guardian's a king, so that makes you a little prince, and we should build you a castle." Bonnie says, tipping out the boxes so she can make a fort.

"Castle!" Egil says. It seems he knows that word.

"Make castle!"

From somewhere, a little grey cat wanders over and hops onto the table.

"We may need more boxes." Bonnie says, though some of them are quite big. "Just make sure there ain't any scratchy things here."

"I may have some boxes," says a high-backed chair nearby, positioned with the back towards them.

Of course, Teja is never very far from Egil in the bar.

"Oh hey Teja." Bonnie waves. "That'd be great."

Teja stands.

"What manner of boxes would you need for that which you wish to do?"

"Teja!" Egil says, pointing.

"Well that depends on yer little man, cos I don't know if I'll fit." Bonnie winks.

"Wooden ones, cardboard ones, or the plastic ones that they carry food around in, in the kitchens?" Teja asks.

"Cardboard, we don't want it fallin' on his little head."

"How many," Teja says, "and how large?"

"One real big one?"

"It things are too large and dangerous," Teja says, "Egil might wish to wear his helmet, that he has for skating."

He says something, quietly, to the grey cat, then quickly walks away and returns, two or three minutes later, with a cardboard box that might once have contained a refrigerator.

"Now that's more like it." Bonnie says, starting to cut a door out for him with a craft knife.

"I can build him a wooden one if you want, but I'd need to make sure it was safe. Maybe build a play-Forge next ter yours?"

"He has a little play-forge, made of wood, that Pyrrha made," Teja says.

"Oh, then even better!" Bonnie grins.

Egil toddles off for a moment, and then returns with a little purple helmet that he puts on his head.

The straps dangle, but Teja reaches out to fasten them.

"Indeed," he says, "now you are all safe."

"Now that is just adorable."

"It is to keep him safe from falls, on his skates," Teja says. "Mostly."

"He can skate? But he's so little!"

"We take him by the hand, and then he can," Teja says. "It is a sport we may do together."

"You mean like in the roller disco?"

"Indeed," Teja says. "There is such a thing, in a large car in the garage; Jay opened it up for us, the other day."

"Jay's got a roller disco in the garage?! Sweet!"

"We might take it out one day and open it to all and sundry," Teja says.

"Well that sounds wonderful, I'll ask Jay when I see him, or you can."

"I shall," Teja says. "I am sure it would be amusing to Pyrrha, also."

She rarely gets a chance to exist -- so doing something for pleasure, something in which she can meet more of those he knows, would be good.

"Would be nice gettin' to know yer lady too." Bonnie says.

"She is often very busy," Teja says.

"Pywwa," Egil adds, gravely.

"Glad to hear it, I cain't bear women who just sit and paint their nails all day."

"She paints, but not her nails," Teja says. "She sews and knits and makes things of fabric, and other materials, to wear; she works wood, and she designs ornaments to be worn upon the body. Pyrrha is arts and crafts on legs."

He sounds proud of her.

"She sounds like a riot, I cain't wait." Bonnie says.
