Tybalt finds the bar today while wearing a human disguise. Fortunate really as normally he doesn't bother, given he keeps his interactions with humans to a minimum, where minimum is likely never. Today however he was hunting for a missing mother of his court and when seeking a lost cat, typically seeming human is helpful.

"Ah, yes," He says aloud once he realizes he is not in the coffee house he was expecting. "It has been sometime since you decided you required my presence and I suppose it is good to see you again."

Exactly who he is talking to is up to debate since he is nowhere near Bar and is not looking at anyone really.

Quentin is at the counter in a human disguise and ordering pizza, his conversation with Thor made him curious what's possible and then he can share it with Raj who will appreciate it. The discussion is currently involving various toppings, Quentin has a list of what he likes, what Raj likes and what Toby and May like as they'll be having some too.

Tybalt's senses are nothing like Toby's in detecting the scents of magic but they can detect those with whom Tybalt is familiar.

"I was unaware you had found a door to this esteemed tavern, young lordling."

It's a greeting of sorts.

He jumps and turns before giving a seated bow, "Um, yes, I had."

Tybalt grins at Quentin's reaction. The young are so much fun to play with.

"Intriguing. Tell me, does October attend as well?"

"No, I haven't seen her here," Honestly he's not sure if that would be good or bad if she came here.

Tybalt bothers to ponder this for a few moments before speaking again.

"That is likely for the best. As much as one would hope she would use the extra time to sleep or feed herself, I believe I am not alone in knowing that is unlikely. No, she would be more inclined to find another means to risk her life in new and glorious ways given a venue such as this in which to work."

"I hope you are well?" Yes, he noticed those scratches Quentin.

"Yes, Raj and I were sparring,"

He says it quickly as it shouldn't get either of them in trouble but he knows that the courts work differently. Raj would know the right thing to say.

Tybalt narrows his eyes and focuses on Quentin's wounds, examining how well they are places; gauging how competent a fighter his nephew is becoming.

This might be misinterpreted since Tybalt has, for once, stopped speaking.

Tybalt's gaze is intense and Quentin fidgets saying, "I was using a blunt sword to make it fairer. He won by two hits."

Tybalt starts to sneer before catching himself. The Divided Courts and their ways are not his.

"While I do appreciate your caution, I must ask you not to do so in the future. Additionally, I would take it as a person favor if you tried harder to beat him. When he is king, no one will sheath their claws and play nice like your Courts. I would prefer he learn to fight with one who does not wish to kill him. For now at least."

"It was actually meant to be fairer for me as I don't have claws. And I will,"

Its a lesson he understands, its a hard one but he and Raj don't hold back in their sparring.

"Excellent," Tybalt replies with a smile since he can't say anything more. "I am pleased with Raj's development and your wounds do show restraint, something many cait sidhe his age do not possess."

"Have you been coming here long? Made yourself friends and all of that?"

"He has his share of bruises. I have and I've been getting to know some people,"

Milliways is weird and he hates that he doesn't know all the etiquette for it.

"Seeing as how were are, neither of us, in our respective Courts, allow me to advise caution. There is at least one creature here who claims to be a vampire. If my past interactions with him are any indication, he would see you are prey and little more."

Toby would be most displeased if anything were to happen to Quentin here and Tybalt has grown to understand he could not live with himself nor face her, if he allowed such to happen without attempting to intervene.

"I have been cautious and I think I might have met him. Someone else warned me about him. Is his name Erik and he's very tall?"

Quentin doesn't want anything to happen to him either and its reassuring to know that Tybalt does come here. Not completely reassuring as Tybalt is hard to predict but he's also powerful.

"That was the name he offered me. I have not interacted with him in many years, at least my own years. I am not certain what time has passed here. I would offer my protection but I believe he would not recognize my name, were you to invoke it. In honor of our mutual friend, however, I would aid you were I aware you were in need, here and at home."

Tybalt would advise Quentin to seek the safety of the bar if he ever encounter Northman outside, but Tybalt never quite got the rules of hospitality here.

That's a hugely generous offer and Quentin nods in acknowledgement of it,

"I will remember that and I hope I have no need to invoke your protection."

Erik left a lasting impression.

"I would prefer that as well. I have seen others leave notes with the Lady Bar. If I encounter other such creatures, I shall send a missive. As I understand it, October would not take kindly to your being harmed, no matter the reason or local."

He rubs at his shoulder where there's still a scar from where he was shot, "I'd rather not worry her."

"I do not know that we have much to say on the matter, but I agree with you regardless."

"When she's busy or asleep then she doesn't worry,"

Or with Connor but that doesn't feel right to say around Tybalt.

Tybalt would appreciate Quentin's thoughtfulness were he aware of it, though he would never say anything on the matter of course.

"Unfortunately, the former occurs all to often and the latter all to rarely." He replies with a tight smile.

"Yes, but if its the right sort of busy like learning how to fight with the Duke then she only worries about not falling over and not everything else."
