A tall, middle-aged man in almost clerical black comes walking in through the door when Ethan is at roughly his third glass; the door closes on a bright blue corridor, gleaming and blank, the like of which Ethan has likely never seen.

He is carrying some books and papers, and gives Ethan and his bottle something of a look before settling down two tables over, and ordering tea.

Jay bounces to the bar, looking a little singed but cheerful. Someone's been having fun playing with things that go boom. He orders a shot of Bourbon and throws it back.

He smiles at Ethan. "Hey man. How's it going?"
