Dandy bearing gifts
Dorian Gray enters from his world with a stack of parcels, and deposits them with the bar.
Among them are gifts for:
Among them are gifts for:
- Kili -- a silver art nouveau comb that might read as 'elvish' to the dwarf's sense of style
- Noriko Ashida -- a set of very ornate Imari tea bowls in a luscious brocade pattern and a note saying 'I got to 24 without having to fiddle anything!'
- Alana Bloom -- a very lovely silk kimono with a large, ornate floral ornament, painted by hand on the entire garment
- Nancy -- a roll of shiny guineas still valid in her time, wrapped up in a beautiful warm blue cashmere shawl
- Athelstan -- a new-fangled fountain pen, with a slanted nib that will produce lines of different width depending on angle, so the result will be very similar to a proper feather quill, plus an inkpot with black ink, and two vellum notebooks
- Little!Rae -- a set of 1890s books re-telling Greek, Roman, Germanic and Irish myths, with lavish illustrations
- Rae Seddon -- a set of lovely copper cake forms
- Bossuet -- a large bottle of very superior gin, and a set of silver brushes with stylised art nouveau cats on it, obviously meant for brushing some luxurious, spoiled feline
- Joly -- a brass microscope from the 1890s, with all the necessary glass slides and tiny tools
- Tahno -- a silver teapot with slightly risqué neo-classical depictions of satyrs frolicking all over the main body of the implement
- Jane Austen -- a set of quills, with an ornate inkstand
- Ganymede -- a set of lovely wide sight-hound collars, in subtly different shades of blue, made of smooth leather and silk padding, for all the dogs
- Guppy Sandhu -- "The Selfish Giant And Other Tales" by Oscar Wilde, bound in pale green linen, with contemporary illustrations
- Autor -- a pristine first edition of Debussy's Suite Bergamasque, signed by the composer himself
- Cecil Palmer -- a dozen pairs of bright purple silken socks, and a first edition of 'The Sign of the Four'
- Jack Benjamin -- a copy of Teleny, bound in yellow silk with a damask pattern of orchids
- Jason Todd -- a book from the 1890s about the potential technology of the future; even flying cars are already a thing
- Morticia Addams -- a little venus flytrap in a gilded flowerpot
- Eric Northman -- a helmet with horns on, probably purloined from a production of a Wagner opera
- David Detector -- a bottle of apple brandy
- Minx -- a fur stole
- Ethan Chandler -- a bottle of really good whiskey
- Master of Ceremonies -- a bottle of good absinthe, and a long coiled-up twisted bull-whip made from the skin of a whale's penis
- Ellen Park -- a long, sharp, no-nonsense sword with a cross-shaped hilt
