A new notice has gone up on the notice board.

'Are you a young person or young person at heart?

Interested in doing fun activities and learning new skills?

Need a break from your home world? Bored of being bound?

We will be starting a Scout group next week with activities aimed mostly at 13-19 year olds (though older and younger are both welcome - under 11s must be supervised by an adult).

If you decide to become a Scout, you get a free hoodie and are able to earn and create merit badges. If you don't want to officially join you are still very much welcome.

Fortunately for Bonnie, selling the car she'd been working on to Jay, for his most generous offer, has provided a bit of extra money to help start up this venture. So at present she is busy with a box of black and dark blue hoodies in various sizes, on which she is diligently sewing the badge with the Milliscouts logo on.

Quentin knows about the Scouts, some of the boys and girls he'd known at Pleasant Hills had been involved with them. They seem an odd choice for Milliways and he reads over the sign.

"Well hi there." Bonnie says, from her sewing, when he's had a chance to have a read.

"Hello, are you organizing this group?"

She looks familiar, maybe from the roller skating thing. Today he's looking neat as always in his human disguise and jeans and a t-shirt that says, 'real Disney prince'.

"I'm sort of... herding it." Bonnie says, with a grin. "Are you interested?"

"Herding it? How's that different from being a troop leader? I don't know, what would go into it?"

From what he remembers of the people who were involved with the scouts at Pleasant Hill, it took up a lot of their time.

Athelstan scans over the sign, with interest especially as it says you can be outside the age range.

"Hi there." Bonnie waves at him.

He glances over at her with a smile.

"Hello. Are you in charge of this?"

"Looks like it." Bonnie grins. "I'm Bonnie."

"Athelstan. I... don't really know what sort of activities you'd be planning?"

"Hello, Bonnie," Autor says, planting himself in front of her table cheerily. "That's quite a few hoodies. Would you like help sewing the badges on them?"

"Sure thing, thanks Autor." Bonnie says. "You can have yours now if you agree to the code."

She brings out a card which reads:
'I will do my best
To have fun
To not get hurt
And to not be an asshole'

Autor's gaze flicks over the card, and he chokes. He covers his mouth, but his eyes can't hide his smile. "That's our code? Are you serious?" he says, clearly amused. "Well, all right, then."

He raises his right hand. "I do solemnly swear to do my best, have fun, not get hurt, and not... not be an a--seriously? all right--an asshole."

"I might have to give an option of 'jerk' fer the smaller kids." Bonnie says.

She giggles. "You didn't have ter read it out, but awesome, here's yer hoodie."

"What? A swearing in ceremony that doesn't involve actual swearing?" the boy says, and snickers. "We might have to teach the younger kids a new word. And thanks. Here, give me an extra needle, we'll get the work done twice as fast."

Usually Tyler just stops by the announcement boards to check the lunar calender before going out to play with Winston. Today, he has the best surprise any Bound kid could hope for.

"Eeeeee."

Something to DO with his free time.

Bonnie hears the excited eeeing and grins.

"You wanna come join us then?"

"Yes, please! What kinds of activities are there?" He's turning towards Bonnie with the little black, gold and purple beast at his heels. "What do we do?"

"Well we're startin' off with buildin' sledges." Bonnie says. "But it'll be to an extent gettin' out what you put in. We'll give you ideas, equipment and expertise where possible, you guys will be doin' some of the organisin' too."

He is so in favor of this, you have no idea. Build stuff? Yes! Make friends? Double yes!!

"My name's Tyler, where do I sign up or pledge? Where're we building the sledges?"

Enzo looks at the notice, intrigued. He never was a Network Pathfinder at home, it might be interested to get involved in something of the sort. It's not like he actually needs more stuff to do, but he's always up for learning new skills...

Bonnie gives him a wave when he looks in the right direction.

Ah! The hoodies in question. He points at the notice, then at her, and tilts his head in inquiry.

Bonnie nods and waves him over.

Enzo approaches. "Hey. Enzo Matrix. 17 years old by human standards."
