First Enterance - Ahsoka Tano

[Before Milliways: Ahsoka gets some lost property back and sets herself on her new path. Warning for spoilers to the end of Season 5 of the Clone Wars, specifically the episode The Wrong Jedi.]

A young alien walks into a bar and freezes. This could be the set up for a joke but not in this case. At least not for her as she was expecting a train station that is most definitely not there now. Her confusion is quickly compounded by a touch of vertigo as her senses tell her the shape of this place is wrong, compared to what the station had been like just a moment before.

"What's happening?' She asks, swaying a little.

William comes in behind her and offers a hand out, "You alright there, miss?"

She must be new and from somewhere strange, he's never seen anyone exactly like her before.

[jedi_interrupted]

She accepts the help with a smile.

"I'm okay? I'm just...this was a train station a minute ago. I know this is going to sound off, but can you tell me where I am?"

[OOC: And heading home. Hope to tag back here and Tybalt later.]

[not_his_pa]

(OOC: Travel well and I thought this might be you.)

"No, you're fine. Milliways is odd," He stands a little straighter, there's some snow on his jacket mixed with the dust, "This is Milliways, the Bar at the End of the Universe and it likes surprisin' people."

[jedi_interrupted]

"Okay, but how did it get here? This was a train station. I just went through the doors and turned around to go through them again."

[not_his_pa]

"Yeah, doors to Milliways do that. Its somethin' about their magic. The station's still right there, time's even stopped."

[jedi_interrupted]

"Time's stopped?" Ahsoka says with a hint of disbelief. "I think I need to see this."

She steps back and opens the door to the loading platform of what is to her a normal train station. To William, assuming he looks, it might look like something out of a dime novel or that Frenchman Verne. "Wow." Ahsoka says staring at the frozen people.

He peers over her shoulder and mutters, "Hell, that's even more than Milliways."

[jedi_interrupted]

"What?" She asks, not quite catching his meaning.

[not_his_pa]

"Nothin', but see what I mean about time stoppin'," His time is ancient compared to most folks and even more so to her probably.

[jedi_interrupted]

"Yeah. To be honest, it's kind of creepy." And so saying, she closes the door. "I'm Ahsoka, by the way. Ahsoka Tano."

[not_his_pa]

"Yeah, but useful too when you need some extra time. William Evans, the first drink's free which helps some. I was goin' to get some coffee and some food when I came in."

[katyafeline]

"You're in a bar, and not drinking vodka." The woman sitting cross-legged on the Bar calls out, blatantly curious. "It is a tragedy for the ages. There will be epic ballads."

[jedi_interrupted]

"Ballads? I don't think so. Not about me at any rate," Ahsoka says getting her bearings (as far as room dimensions go) and walking over to the strange woman (who feels weird in the Force). "What's 'vodka' anyway? And where am I?"

[katyafeline]

"Vodka is the best drink ever invented, and as I sad: You're in a bar." Katya supplies helpfully, grinning.

[jedi_interrupted]

The strange woman is beginning to remind Ahsoka of some of the more eccentric Jedi Masters.

"Okay. Well, obviously this is a problem. How could we possible fix it?"

[katyafeline]

"Which is a problem - that vodka is the best, that you are not drinking it, or that you are in a bar?" Katya only has a problem with one of those, but she's discovered that the priorities of other people are sometimes a little off.

[jedi_interrupted]

"Both I suppose," she says after a moments consideration. "But since you are on a bar, and I can only assume vodka is something you drink in a bar, maybe we can start there?"

[katyafeline]

"You heard the lady, give her some vodka - and the good stuff, da? None of this flavored business." Katya huffs, and a glass of clear alcohol appears.

"You have to be specific - Bar is fantastic, but she has some odd tastes."

[jedi_interrupted]

"The bar is sentient then?" The young alien asks, a little startled by the glass appearing but not at the idea of a sentient bar.

[katyafeline]

"Mmm, da, and quite friendly." Katya confirms, patting the polished wood. "And opinionated."

[jedi_interrupted]

"The best sentients are," Ahsoka replies with a grin and takes a sip of the vodka. She doesn't sputter but it's pretty obvious she is not used to strong drink. Such a pity, da? "That's something else. Reminds me of what Hondo drinks, though I think his has berries in it."

[katyafeline]

"I suppose you could add berries?" Says the woman who regularly makes sbiten with vodka. "It would be... festive."

[jedi_interrupted]

"Nah. That would make it too sweet I think. I'm Ahsoka by the way."

Another sip, which goes down much better this time, now that she knows what to expect.

"So now that I am drinking vodka in a bar, can you tell me why there is a bar instead of a train station?"

[katyafeline]

"Because you walked through the door and it lead to a bar." Katya points out, helpfully. "Sometimes that happens."

[intoaman]

There's a raven in the rafters above her. When sees her sway, he glides down to the bar and caws. A large glass of water appears next to him and he caws again, calling her over to it.

[jedi_interrupted]

That is one strange looking avian. Curious despite herself, Ahsoka approaches the animal, wondering all while if this is a Force vision. If so, it's making no sense.

"Do you talk?" She asks, finally getting her balance back.

[intoaman]

He caws again and takes off, sailing towards the locker rooms. He comes back as a man, tall and pale and very heavily scarred. "Hello, sorry. Are you okay?"

[jedi_interrupted]

Okay, that was weird.

"Are you..." She starts to ask before deciding the question is either insane or rude. Yeah, it's rude. "I'm better now. Thank you. I just didn't expect this place. The room should have been a lot bigger cause it was supposed to be a train station."

[intoaman]

"I'm a raven." He explains without shame or reserve. "But man shaped is easier for talking to people."

"It a bar. A magic bar called Milliways. It's nice here!"

[jedi_interrupted]

"I can see that," Ahsoka replies, patiently. Part of her doesn't want to believe this but then she'd been to Mortis. "Is that why I'm here instead of a train station? How do I get back?"

[intoaman]

"No-one knows why. It just is and some people just find the door. You can go back the same way. Time won't have passed. It doesn't while you're here. More magic." He seems quite cheerful about it. "I'm Diaval."

[jedi_interrupted]

That he does and it is going a long way to keeping Ahsoka at ease.

"Just back through the door? Hold on a moment would you?" And so saying she jogs back to open the door, finding the boarding platform back Coruscant. If Diaval happens to look, he is sure to find all the bright lights and shiny metal interesting. Ahsoka closes the door again and returns. "That is amazing."

[intoaman]

Shiny surfaces that Diaval very much admires. "Oh, pretty! It is pretty amazing! And the bar will give you anything you want if you just ask."
