A small blond boy (in jeans and a t-shirt) sits in a booth, sipping a chocolate milkshake and picking at fries.

It might seem like he's reading, well, any middle school book appropriate to the character who sees him.

But he's actually just playing the new Pokemon game on his 3DS.

The teenaged redhead should look familiar to him. He's certainly familiar to her, as evidenced by the way she glances at him and suddenly freezes in disbelief. "Franklin?"

They taught him something about tact. He still has a ways to go, but luckily, Rikki's okay with a little possible insensitivity. "It's cool. I'm alive, somehow. Kinda still trying to figure that part out."

"Oh, uh."

Well.

The smile she gives him has a little bit of a wince in it. "I don't know, kiddo. I think so. I woke up - somewhere else."

"Philly. My home town. On a different Earth - I think it might be yours?"
girlwithout: (maybe I got friends)

She grins at him. "Yeah, sure. That'd be great."

(She has no problem with PB&J. Meal of champions.)

She munches on a fry. "Nah, I'm in Brooklyn. Got an apartment there."

Well. Technically, Steve has an apartment there.

Rikki shrugs up a shoulder. "Not really. At least, not for a superhero."

She's just going to politely leave out that one time a serial killer locked her in his basement.
