The sky over the Milliways outdoors is blue and picturesque and scattered with fluffy clouds. There might be the occasional bird flying around, whether a patron or a forest animal. Also, you know, there's that big dragon gliding by.

Wait. Dragon?

Wait. What? appears to be the dragon's reaction too, at least if anyone around is good at reading draconic body language. It (she) soars in a great and wary circle, surveying the ground before landing warily by the lake.

She's huge, with green scales (properly brushed and polished, thank you) just beginning to go gray at the edges, and three horns (the third, stubbier than the others, in the middle of her forehead), and a quantity of extremely sharp teeth. "Now," she says to herself, "this is new."

(Meanwhile, whether or not anyone's noticed, the Milliways forest just got a little bigger.)

He half-laughs, half-snorts. "Around here, you could tell me you were a unicorn and I'd be forced to fucking believe you."

It seems more polite than mentioning the kaiju thing.

The dragon grimaces, which is a sight to see on a face that vast and toothy.

"I'm not half so vain as a unicorn, thank you."

This is perfectly true. But Kazul has a little more vanity than she'll ever choose to admit to.

Chuck mirrors the gesture, slightly. Vanity is annoying.

"Never met one." Pause. "Are you a shapeshifter or something? Because I'm not out here that often, but you're kinda...."

Chuck pauses. "Shiny," he decides on.

"There's a polite little purple one running around somewhere. But for the ones I'm used to, you're not missing much."

Well, they're very pretty. Somebody with more patience for a unicorn admiring its own reflection and accessorizing with any royal passersby might get along with them better than Kazul does.

At shiny, she snorts a bit of a laugh. There's smoke, and a tiny lick of fire. "Just new. Dragons don't change shape."

Whether this means can't or refuse to because we're a very arrogant species is... open to interpretation. (Mostly the latter.)

Chuck nods. "You need the lowdown on this place? I don't really know anything about the outside, but I've been living here since I died like nearly two years ago, maybe."
