College AU Frenchmen!
...this isn't his bedroom. Jean Valjean - dressed in shorts and a muscle T, covered in sweat - rubs a towel over his face, and blinks quite a lot. Then he sticks his head back through the door, and yells, 'Javert!'
'What?'
'Come look.'
Javert - mussed hair, jeans, sullen expression, a scar around his neck - slopes through the door. He also blinks a lot, and doesn't stop the door closing behind them. While Valjean spends his time staring about, his eyes fall on the leaflets nearby. He picks one up, reads it, then touches Valjean's arm to get his attention.
'Here.'
A couple of minutes later, they're staring at each other. Javert shakes his head. Valjean nods, and stretches for the door handle...which won't open. His eyes go wide as he tugs on it, and Javert has to take his wrist to stop him trying to wrench his way out.
'It's OK. We'll just get a drink and wait for it to open. It says here that it will. OK?'
'...OK.'
And so there's two wary young guys at the bar, eyeing drinks suspiciously. Well, Valjean is. Javert is eyeing Valjean, because...well. Just because.
[OOC: AU guys, obviously! Write-up on their background here. You can pretty much do what you want with them, they're only here for a week. This is open until whenever, and they'll each get an independent EP at some point. \o/]

"We do. Some likely come for the same reason that people go watch orcas perform tricks at Seaworld, but quite a few come because it is -"
A small shrug.
"A turn on. They haven't quite gotten up the courage to approach, so instead they just watch others get it on."
no subject
'Well, some people like to watch.'
His voice is a little tight, and his eyes are cold. Javert reaches out without looking, and touches his arm. It gets no response, but it doesn't need one.
no subject
To him anyway.
"I've never understood the appeal myself. But it's easy to cater to. Take the throne for example."
no subject
Of course he does.
'I suppose it's OK if you want to be a dancing monkey for other people's entertainment.'
no subject
"That is not how it goes. I am the oldest and the most powerful being in that room. The throne lends some gravitas to that."
His smile widens a fraction.
"And it makes it easy to oversee what is going on in the rest of the room. Not to mention that it is a good height for blowjobs."
A beat.
"Not that anything like that ever takes place. Of course. That'd be illegal."
no subject
He's looking at Valjean rather than the vampire.
'You know how it'll end up. Don't do it to yourself.'
Valjean shakes his head, and looks away. It gives Javert the opportunity to glare at Eric again.
'Leave him alone. No one cares what you do in your sex club.'
no subject
"And so far, I've merely been answering your questions."
no subject
He knows Eric doesn't know anything about Valjean, but gets the feeling that even if he did, he wouldn't stop. Not to mention that it's hardly the sort of thing someone talks about when you've just met.
'Be the king of whatever the hell you want, but it's nothing to do with us.'
no subject
Sweetly.

He steps in close to Valjean's side, and touches his back. Valjean's face is stony, but he does turn it a little so it's almost resting on Javert's arm. Bad enough he's locked in here without having to listen to stuff like that.
'No one asked you about blowjobs. No one wants to know.'
no subject
"Would you rather know about the biting?"
The small, aggressive one seemed - not completely disinterested at first. That might explain the aggression actually.
Or not.
It's not like he cares.
no subject
This is almost a lie, because he's right, Javert not completely disinterested. But he also doesn't want to hear of it in front of Valjean, who is most definitely not interested.
'There are no vampires where we come from. We don't need to know.'
Lecter made it sound almost appealing. But Javert's also aware that it's probably something to do with his own levels of frustration, and therefore nothing to give in to.
no subject
"You needn't worry. I have plenty of takers here. I don't have to go around trying to convince anybody to do anything they don't want to do."
He might be stressing the ''want' a little.
no subject
'That's something.'
A very little something, but better than anything non-consensual.

Javert shifts a bit, and says, ' you don't look a thousand years old.'
no subject
He runs a finger down his front.
no subject
It would seem the obvious question, and Javert's never afraid to be blunt.
no subject
There may be a hint of emotion there. Of longing.
no subject
He doesn't see the appeal. But then, he's proved he's not one to hang on to life recently.

It doesn't sound like living to him, of any sort. Valjean shoots him a warning look, but he ignores it.
