It has taken painstaking calculation -- several months or more, by the way days are counted in the bar -- to ensure that the passage of time between their worlds is reckoned in the way that they all need it to be.
Moiraine has exchanged more than one carefully coded message with Nynaeve, by now, and is certain of their alignment. Soon, very soon, it will be time to act.
Tonight, however, her errand is a much simpler one. The Aes Sedai glides into Milliways and, upon making a murmured inquiry of the bar, receives a small pack. She glances inside, and a satisfied smile curves her lips.
Moiraine collects the pack and makes her way through the room. Soon after, she is settled at a nearby table with a pot of tea.

She tilts her head slightly, considering him.
"And you, yourself? What matters are new with you?"

A beat. "Okay wait, there was one new thing since I last talked to you. Uh -- I don't remember if I ever told you about what went wrong, like eight or nine years ago, when we brought Jonathan back to life?"

"Perhaps you might remind me, to be certain," she suggests.

A beat.
"We fixed it. Wayland the Smith, he ... put it right again."

"So since then its been pretty much business as usual. The city's still full of dangerous weirdness, and ... we do what we can."
