(OOM: Jay and Gavroche get talking about the drones that hang around with Jay, then Gav gets talking to them. Which leads to a rescue mission to a broken world.)
Jay comes up to the bar, looking tired and hopeful. He pins a note to the notice board.
WANTED – MILLIWAYS PATRONS WITH MECHANICAL AND/OR ELECTRICAL REPAIR SKILLS.
NEEDED TO HELP REPAIR INJURED ROBOTIC SURVIVORS FROM SOME KIND OF WAR.
ALL TOOLS, EQUIPMENT AND SCHEMATICS PROVIDED. I JUST NEED MORE HANDS.
SEE JAY IN THE GARAGE OR FOLLOW THE ATTACHED TRACKERS.
There are small buttons hanging from the bottom of the note which when squeezed will light up with an arrow that points towards wherever Jay is.
Jay stops at the bar for some more parts but is presented with sandwiches and juice instead. And a napkin refusing him further service till he eats something. He huffs and sits down at the bench to eat.
{ooc: Party style post for anyone who can help but everyone is welcome, even if it’s just to push food and coffee at people or provide moral support. Thread-hopping encouraged. Open all weekend.}
{Edit: I'll be on and off all day while dyeing fabric so forgive me if I vanish unexpectedly.}

The workshop
Around the walls are benches set up with trolleys of tools, magnifying lamps, soldering kits, tape, adhesives, spare parts and 3D interactive schematics of the drones.
Five functional drones flit back and forth, fetching and carrying on request. They have names stencilled down the side of them so they’re easy to call on for help – Lock, Stock and Barrel, Heckle and Jeckle.

Re: The workshop
"Of course." He reaches up to stroke the nearest part of her shell. "We'll get through to them."

Re: The workshop
Lock flies over, handing him a part with a spindly arm projecting from the smooth eggshell body. He lands on his shoulder and makes a chattering sound at Ragnar as if in greeting.
Re: The workshop
Ragnar isn't startled by Lock at all. He turns his head and says, "Hello small machine person!"

That's helping and he frowns at a part as he notices Hank, "You can turn and make them bigger to look at the details."

So before long there's an Oswin in the garage, surveying the damage and definitely totally not planning on getting some new ideas for her spider bots.

Re: The workshop
Cars.
Cars.
Oswin is willing to forgive Clint's time and place for quite a lot because they came up with cars. Cars are awesome.
Except when they involve dinosaurs. That... that is not awesome.

Stopping for pizza.
Tank in the corner
And angry. Very angry.
They bounce off the glass and buzz and hissing. They track anyone who gets too close to the tank. And it might be wise not to touch the glass.

"The babies", Gavroche says quietly, coming to stand beside her. "We had to lock them in, they never got taught to be social."

He makes his way into the garage and finds Jay and the small fleet of small robots.
"What can I do?"
no subject
He nods for Cy to join him at the bench, pulling another drone from the hive.
