Eric shows up in the early evening, entering from the staff entrance of Fangtasia.
Not that he minds.
He shrugs off his leather jacket and settles on the couch, managing to fill most of it simply by sprawling.
He couldn't care less about the fish, but the couch is nice.
And he's in a good mood tonight.
Not that it necessarily shows to the casual observer, vampires being rather stone faced and all.

For no particular reason,

Few people can look at someone with as flat an expression as a vampire.

Eric's voice is flat. Cool.
"I don't love anyone. Love is a human emotion, Jay. "

Very loudly.
"Keep telling yourself that."

It's a slow, deliberate, and highly arrogant movement.
"Vampires do not feel love. Some vampires like to think that they do, but it's a sham, an illusion. They're tricking themselves because they're unable to let go of how things were like when they were human themselves."
It all sounds very rational.

That sounded - borderline testy.
