Sameth is smoothing his hair down and trying to make his surcoat not look as rumpled when he enters Milliways and laughs with relief. There's time for a break in Milliways before heading to the State dinner and he heads to the counter where he gets a napkin.
Quickly he writes up a few simple specials before pouring himself some spiced wine and starting to sketch on a piece of paper that was in his surcoat pocket.
Specials
Spiced Wine
Coffee or tea
Whiskey
What projects are you working on?
That should create some nice conversations and remind him of what everyone else is doing.
(OOC: Open until another Happy Hour goes up or it scrolls, whichever comes first.)

Also he has to be aware of politics, which he's better at than before but not easy for him.

"Not interesting? Really? I always though they sounded like they would be. Isn't it all politics and such?" Joly's awareness of state affairs is largely on the side of trying to not get arrested by interfering with them.

"Heh, sounds like my father's business lunches.--And those were dull. I suppose no one has the sense to want to hear about your studies?"

Joly's grin is very sympathetic; he'd hated those business lunches. "Then I'm glad you could escape here for a while. Maybe some time we can create something to make them more interesting." It starts out as an idle comment, but before he's halfway through, he's really thinking about it. "Some sort of game, or something..."
Right, but Sameth's sign asks about other people's projects. "You know I've been tinkering on my flying machine; I haven't had a chance to test it out lately, with the weather and all. I want to give it a first try in warmer weather. But my 1/6 prototype maneuvers enough indoors to avoid the cats, now." That's something!

"Are a Prince?" he asks, capitals likely audible in his tone.

Sebastian shrugs, and settles himself on a stool. "I was in a land, near a quarter-year, where many wandered and quarreled with my neighbors. I've the look of you," he says, and smiles.

Sameth knows he doesn't truly look some ideas of a prince and wants to know more.

He scans the list of drinks. "Spiced Wine, if you will it."

That was a memorable conversation and he pours a mug for Sebastian and refills his own. The wine is warm and spiced, good for a cold night.

No one was very interested in the politics of Dragons, where he was, but one cannot help but ask on hearing there is a female King who is also a fire breathing lizard who flies.
George is pro-Dragon, in so far as he is pro-anyone who is anti-Prince. Sebastian failed to ask how much of this was due to Princes being his only true competition for the hand of his Princess.
