The front door opens, beyond the door is a car submerged in the Pacific ocean. Beside the door is a figure with dark hair, that has just enough time to realize there is suddenly an open door before she falls through the door along with a rush of ocean water before the door closes.

Amanda starts to get up, coughing up water.

Fujin is startled by the appearance and sudden rush of water. It very nearly takes out his little table but that's the least of his worries as he stands and quickly moves to her side. He's not about to ask anything redundant, and waits to see if she needs help once she finishes coughing up the water.

She coughs up the water and then looks around. First she appears startled and then recognition dawns on her face.

Amanda sighs, looking down at herself, soaking wet.

Then she notices the man standing next to her. "Hello." a bit more awkwardly then her normal self.

"Hello." He offers with a voice that sounds quite a bit older than he appears. He offers out a hand to her.

"That was an interesting arrival. Are you going to be alright?" She was breathing, which was always a good start. He can't help some concern working its way into his face, mostly because his white eyes aren't the most expressive on their own.

She accepts the hand, "I do love to make an entrance." she semi-jokes. "Though I will admit this one wasn't planned."

Noticing the concern on his face, "Oh yes, I will be alright. Thank you."

"I'm Amanda." she knows she should probably find a mop and clean this up, but she isn't in the mood yet.

[kazefujin]

"Fujin." He motions over to his table which is close by, some of the water still under it but the chairs are at least dry.

"Please." An undisturbed kettle of still-hot tea sits upon it, and she looks like she could use some. He catches a waitrat and sends them for a second cup. "I hazard to ask what brought it about." His concern has mellowed as he pulls a second chair over to the table for himself.

Ooh tea, tea is good.

Amanda walks over to the table with him, "I hope I didn't disturb your evening?" gesturing to the water under the table.

"I was killing myself." she says nonchalantly.

[kazefujin]

He visibly pauses at that, but Fujin has already seen Death eating lunch at the bar, so he's not exactly certain how to take it. She seemed rather casual with her words, which spoke of a certain familiarity. When the second cup appears, he fills hers, then his own.

"You very nearly succeeded, from what I could see."

"Yes, I did" she smiles, "Hopefully it was close enough." she decides to add, since this is Milliways, "I'm immortal. I needed to kill my current identity in order to keep the mortals from asking too many questions. Usually the most expedient way to do this is to die."

[kazefujin]

His eyebrows rise up in curious surprise. An immortal. Well, that explained enough.

"Ah. I see. That seems like a rather inconvenient way, but it does answer any further questions." All his concern is gone as he takes a drink of his tea. "I can't I share the experience, but mortals do ask many questions."

Bonnie gets up and crouches next to the woman.

"Easy there." she says, putting a hand on her shoulder. "Take a breath, yer safe."

"What?" she looks around, "Oh yes, thank you." she gives a smile.

"And I've made quite the mess." looking at the water.

"Don't worry about that, are you okay?" Bonnie asks. "You want me to get Guppy or someone?"

[immortalthief]

"I'm always happy to see Guppy" she says with a warm friendly smile, "But I would be a waste of his medical talents. I appreciate the thought though."

"Amanda."

[is_the_motion]

"How come?" Bonnie offers her a hand up. "Bonnie Murdock."

[immortalthief]

"Nice to meet you Bonnie."

"I'm an immortal. So any damage would heal. Or has already healed."

[is_the_motion]

"Ah, good." Bonnie says. "Probably better fer his blood pressure. Sorry about yer car though."

[immortalthief]

Looking back at the door for a moment then returning her gaze to Bonnie, "Thankfully, I did that on purpose. But I will miss it."

Have a Wil who is now slapping her back. He has a mind to lead her to the fire.

"Are you okay?" he asks.

Amanda continues to cough the water out of her lungs. It's at times less painful to die then to come near to death.

Once settled, "Yes, I am thank you." she sits up and notices him, "Will right? Nice ears" she says sincerely.

"Uh... thanks," he says self consciously, "Your Amanda, right?"

He ordered a towel and blankets from a passing rat.

"Yes, I imagine you've met a lot of people since that day." she grins kindly. "Though you had a hat on when you arrived."

"Yeah, this place is so cool," he said. The rat arrived with the order and he started to wrap her in the towel. He then ordered hot tea, "What were you doing?"

"I was trying to kill myself." she say's nonchalantly as she takes the towel and settles in.

"Um, sorry," said Wil backing off.

[immortalthief]

She waves him off, "I'm immortal. So I can't actually die, I just need the mortals to think that I have died." not certain if that will help him not be afraid of her.
