Two days trying to fend for himself in the Enchanted Forest (mostly managing to avoid Monsters or politely edge his way past them except when they required he perform some errand for them) has done more harm to Sebastian's finery than 3 months of hard labor.
Thankfully, that's not visible for long after the back door swings open. Within two bedraggled steps, the Bar realizes the error and promptly switches him out of the costume back to the (mostly clean) original suit of clothes in mourning black he walked into the bar with on Hallowe'en. There's still dirt across his face, and hands.
"Ah!" Sebastian exclaims, and despite his evident exhaustion is clearly pleased as he turns his arms around to look at the undecorated sleeves.
He goes to the bar, to get himself a drink and a hot meal.

"I have never heard of this other land spoken of before. Three months? Out there? With a frog? Among monsters? I daresay I would not have lasted as long! Why, just a single evening for me was all it took to learn that the rabbits are vicious and likely to attack. They have glowing red eyes and breathe fire as well-- though this last quality I did not witness for myself, fortunately."

Unlike Princes, who he has been reliably informed Are The Worst, though he has not in fact managed a conversation with a single one of them.
He considers the story of the rabbits thoughtfully. "Think you all rabbits wish they could attack, but lack only the arsenal?"
no subject
"But as for yourself, surely after all this time you are in want of your own bed and a hot bath -- unless such conveniences were provided by your frog host. Has no one here realized your absence?"
no subject
"None here know me," he says, passing by the concern. "Like as not the time beyond the door still holds, and none shall have noted my leave. I am much stronger," he adds, dry, "though not recovered fully."
Maybe it could be a miracle. That'll fly with some super nice pirates, right?
He almost asks Emcee where he is from, and hesitates. He seems mostly human, if strange. Kind and forthright. It can't be too rude to ask. "What lies beyond your door?"
no subject
"Then perhaps you ought to stay a bit and recover before you venture out your door. And in the meantime, get to know more people. Such as myself!" He grins a red-lipped grin and presses a hand to his chest in a half-bow, or as much a bow as he can give while seated.
"I am the Master of Ceremonies, but everyone calls me Emcee. Beyond my door is a nightclub in Berlin, where I oversee the nightly revelries involving the most wonderful music, the most exuberant dancing, the heartiest drinking, and most notably, the most beautiful men and women performing onstage. Alas, I am currently Bound, and have not been able to return since New Year's Eve when I was in the middle of hosting a party."

(He approves of hearty drinking and wonderful music, and he's cool with beautiful people and dancing as long as no one attempts to be able to make him do so.)
He seems more surprised of this than: the talking frogs, the demon rabbits, etc.
He knows that place!

"Yes, if that is what you know it as. It is only named Berlin in my time, in the country of Germany. You might know it as Prussia, perhaps?"
no subject
He shakes his head slightly, apologetic. "I am Roderigo," he says, "or Cesario, if you will -- I am called both, here. I-- my father was a merchant."
no subject
Wait till they both learn about the Berlin Wall!
"A pleasure to meet you, Roderigo, or Cesario. Do you prefer one over the other or shall I choose whichever first leaps to my tongue?"
There may be some deliberate word choice there.
no subject
"I respond to both," he says, cheerfully forgetting how many times he's forgotten to do so. "You say they call you Emcee here -- is it your preference?"
no subject
"They call me Emcee here and at home, so yes, it is my preference, for I have no other name. Oh, I have chosen other names in the past, but this is the one I have now. It suits me, and I suit it."
