[ooc: The case of the Bloody Hand: Part 1. Constable Fiddyment stumbles on a crime off duty. Minor gore warning]

Auxin is a little on the intoxicated side when he comes into the bar, carefully holding a bottle with bloody fingerprints on it. With exaggerated caution, he makes sure not to drop it but instead places it down on the nearest table.

Now, he needs to make sure he writes down everything he can remember about tonight in case this is Evidence. He gets out his notebook, drops it on the floor twice, and then looks for his pencil, which turns out to be in his shoe.

Focus. Try to remember and then to write in a straight line.

6. Is it a crime or just bad food hygieienie?'

Teja walks in from the back door and pauses by Auxin's table, turning his head to watch what he is doing.

"Hey Teja. I think I found crime." Auxin says, adding another 'ie' on the end of 'hygieienie'.

"Here, or in your world?"

"In my world. But the evidence is here." Auxin passes him the bottle. "A waiter sold it to us, but it's got bloody fingerprints on, and they aren't ours."

"You harmed the stranger who tried to steal it?"

"I hope not." Auxin says. "We're not really violent sorts, and the glass isn't broken, so we can't have used it as a weapon."

"You completely don't remember?" Teja says. "How much did you drink, and what was it?"

"I think we only had two bottles of wine between us." Auxin says. "But neither of us had any alcohol before... I mean, it's not a total blank, but we got a bit silly, and we woke up sleeping in a flower bed. I don't remember us being in a fight and neither of us are injured, and I think if we'd been in a scuffle there'd be signs."

"Then it might have been a butcher who tried to steal your bottle?"

"Yeah. A really unhygienic butcher." Auxin writes this down as a theory.

"Or a murderer." he adds.
