 Curious about what celebration the bar is currently undergoing, Izana is reading the notice board, hoping for some insight. They find none, but one notice does jump out at them. They don't read English but they do remember it tends to have different sized symbols for the same meaning, the larger often placing more emphasis to the word that is created. This notice has all the symbols, letters wasn't it?, in the larger format. Thus is must be important.

Even more curious, Izana pulls out their phone to set about trying to translate a meaning from the notice, though they wish they had their datapad with them. It would have more programs to aid in this endeavor.

Help would greatly be appreciated.

Eventually, they make their way to Bar and ask for a translation. Receiving a t-minus until instead, they set to exploring it and are delighted when they see the the star of Sidonia flash on the screen.

Joly would wave a bit to Izana as he comes into the room, but Izana is clearly occupied looking at something else. So he walks over unannounced, as people do.

" Hello! Have you just arrived?-- Oh, is that from your side of the door?" He asks, noticing the device.

Izana looks up and smiles to see their friend.

"Oh, Merry-san! A pleasure to see you as always. And no, this is a device called a t-minus, if I am reading this correctly. Another patron makes them, or breeds, the translation could be read either way I think, and has offered them to the bar. They seem to allow text based conversations from anywhere within bar and between worlds, if both parties have their own devices."

"I am very eager to test it out when I return."

It might be worth noting Izana is very green today and not wearing the white uniform they seem to always wear.

It is worth noting. Of course, Izana isn't exactly working with the same physiology as people of Joly's time, so maybe Joly shouldn't worry? Instead he leans forward to look at --"A T-Minus? Oh, that sounds amazing! I'd like to try one too, Madame Bar? --I wonder if I can connect it to my own tablet..."

Joly reaches for his own little computer tablet, only to find he seems to have changed his tailored clothes and swallow-tail coat--and its deep pockets-- for a deeply unflattering orange jumpsuit. He has a brief moment of panic, searching the things' pockets, until he finds his tablet--now oddly wearing a new frame of its own, but still opening to his familiar layout and system when he turns it on.

"Ahh!--Well, that's a relief. Sorry. I, ah, wasn't expecting any changes today." He looks at Izana's new appearance again. "--Were you? Is this some sort of a holiday for your ships?" It's probably someone's holiday!

"I am sorry, I do not know. Well, it is not from my world at least. Not any thing I recognize any way."

"And I don't think the unit will interface with your device there. These seem to be organic technology. Of course, I could be wrong."
