It's annoying when you can't be good at all your things at the same time.
Fry's music teacher wants to push him, though, and has set him a fiendishly difficult piece for the school music festival, not realising that he has been so focused on his other hobbies that he hasn't put in quite as much practice lately.
He's not one to back down from a challenge, but having driven everyone at home slightly crazy playing the same thing over and over, he's now come to the bar to try and grasp the difficult bit about forty seconds in that he just can't quite get.
After about half an hour, he stops and looks at it in frustration.
