Shimmy! (It's pretty obvious that this is juuuust about the extent of Ursula's dance moves. Although she tries out an awkward Charleston too!)

"You look right at home here! I love the wings! Did you do it all yourself, or did Bar just have everything for you?"

As far as Emcee is concerned, any dancing is good dancing, even awkward Charlestons.

"I daresay that a good party is my natural environment," he chuckles. "And thank you! I did my own makeup, the Bar just supplied all the material upon request. When I was here the Halloween before last, she automatically dressed me as a character from-- I have to remember this title correctly-- The Rocky Horror Picture Show. I don't know if you've heard of it? I was in high heels and a corset."

He offers her a dip in the pumpkin-shaped bucket. "Would you like a glow-in-the-dark trinket?"

"Rocky...horror...?" That's a no; she's never heard of it. But she grins happily. And ooh! Glow-in-the-dark? Yes please! She comes up with a glow bracelet. "Thanks. So--what is the Rocky Picture...?"

"--Rocky Horror Picture Show," he repeats carefully with a chuckle. "It's a film with musical numbers. I must admit, I have not actually seen yet, but a friend of mine here intends to rectify that. I'm-- not even sure what it is about, to be honest. But the character I became was named Dr. Frank N. Furter, and through the magic of the bar's karaoke machine, I ended up performing his signature song about being a 'sweet transvestite from transsexual Transylvania.'"

Ursula laughs. "Well that sounds like a good time. Kind of glad all Bar got me with is this witch costume, though. I'm not sure I'm ready for performing in a corset and heels." It's not exactly her style. Awesome, though. "So--is there somewhere here to watch movies? I haven't really explored the big building all that much."

((Aah, sorry to disappear, had a sick kid...))

"Have you any affinity for witches? I believe that the Bar sometimes picks costumes based on one's own preferences, albeit in some exaggerated way. Or, you know, just to embarrass."

A thoughtful beat. "Personally, I don't think Bar can embarrass me. She is always welcome to try, though." He grins.

"Do you mean like a movie theater? I'm-- really not sure about that! I have only ever watched a few films on those little tablet computers that I've borrowed from the Bar."

[ooc: No worries, hope they're feeling better!]

"No witches in my family that I know of," she says cheerfully. "And I've never met one before. But I do live off by myself in a little house in the middle of the woods, so that kind of fits the old stories, I guess?" Ursula waves a hand in an ooh-spooky gesture. "Like--that Russian one, what's she called, Baba Yaga?"

She looks for a minute like she's trying to think about how Bar might embarrass Emcee too--but no, never mind, not going there. "...Tablet computers?"

"Or Hansel and Gretel, the children who are lost in a forest and are lured to a witch's house. Although I think you may be a much cuter sort of witch than the stories tell of," he says, giving Ursula's bow a light flick with his fingers.

"Tablet computers, yes--they are computers about the size of a book, but thinner. There is no keyboard, instead you touch the screen. A marvelous invention!"

"I promise I've never cooked and eaten any children." She crosses her heart! "Anyway, witches aren't really like that. You're--are you from one of those worlds that really doesn't have them?"

She's...not sure her world has computers, so.

He blinks at the question, his head slightly tilted.

"Oh-- well, yes. That is, no, my world doesn't have witches. They exist in yours?"

It's not the strangest thing he's heard, but it never came up between them until now.

"Well--sure? I mean, they're not common, it's just funny sometimes what's different between worlds. I ran into someone else here with no witches..."

She shrugs and shakes her head, and then looks a little guilty. "Oops, sorry, we're supposed to be dancing!" Shimmy?

He laughs brightly and resumes shimmying with her.

"My world has no magic, at least not to my knowledge. We have illusionists and sleight-of-hand tricksters, not witches and mages. But some form of magic seems to work there, nevertheless, I suppose, as how else would a door to a bar at the end of the universe exist?"
