Charles is trying to relax but the list of possible mutants to find and all the changes that the house will need. It helps that he's known and won't get too many questions that he can't smooth away from the local workers.
Entering the Bar in his chair instead of his study is unexpected but his navigating is more confident as he heads to the fireplace. When a rat comes by he orders some Scotch as he pulls out his worn copy of The Once and Future King from beside his thigh. The myriad of thoughts around him is comforting and a nice change from home.
(OOC: Charles is listening passively to thoughts around him, please provide them in narration or a reason why he couldn't hear them. Thank you.)

Hands at his throat, choking him roughly.
A tavern in the dusk, the companionship of other musicians.
Dancing in the dark by the bonfire on the beach.
A knife at his throat, blood dripping down his neck.
"I... don't know." He answers honestly.

The lines of the abstract, now a tattoo on warm flesh, loving and tangible, seem very clear in Sinric's mind. This lines are who he is and who he will be.

He shakes off the thought. "But what of you? What does the world bring you at the moment?"

"I don't know but thank you for the offer. So much of it involves making connections and construction, work that I have to help make happen."
