Jonathan was minding his own business in a quiet corner, with a book and some lunch.

That was before a vision hit. He tried to stifle the screaming, but it still might have been noticeable.

Now he's on the floor next to a napkin with a scrawled drawing, shuffling back to lean against the wall so he can sit up, the heels of his hands pressed hard against his temples as if it will help to shove the pain out.

Sinric comes over to him, a pot of soothing tea on a tray and some little white pills the bar provided. "Will this helps?"

There's something gold and glittering just under his skin, flickering softly.

He squints at the newcomer, then at what's on his tray.

"It really will. Thanks."

Sinric nods and pours the tea, his grace dimmed from what it was but not enough for Jonathan to see.

"May I ask, are you a seer?"

[jonathanparagon]

"Yes, or half of one." He reaches for the painkillers. "It's not always on. It comes on me like this."

Sinric doesn't push but lets him recover, lets him drink of the tea before asking more.

Recovery is usually quick, with the help of medication, and it's not long before he's looking better and sitting up without leaning.

"Thanks again. I'm Jonathan."

"Sinric." He bows to Jonathan, offering a hand up, although he looks quite frail himself. "I too have recently been opened to the seer's curse. Perhaps not so violently as yours, it would seem." He says sympathetic.

He does look thin, so Jonathan tries not to put too much weight on him as he gets to his feet.

"I've had mine for a few years now, and it comes with migraines every time."

He guides Jonathan to a chair. "Should I leave you be? You seem as if you were trying to record something."

"Oh yeah, where is that?" He turns to look for his sketchy drawing. "It's probably as good as it's getting, I'll have to show it to my boss."

Sinric fetches the dropped napkin, setting it before Jonathan with care. "Does your boss use you for this gift?" Concern in his voice.

"Not in a bad way", Jonathan tries to assure him, discovering there's still a pen in his hand and drawing the last few lines on the picture. "He makes use of it - the group do - because it's there."

He nods, relieved. Clearly the worry of his own gift being used so troubles him.

"May I ask if your able to help them, by seeing such things?" He can't make out the image but he may be seeing it at an odd angle.

Marcus walks in and sits down, seeing the long haired man and the other man named Jonathan. He was on the floor as the terminator bent down to help.

"Stranger, you ... alright?"

It seemed pretty odd that a terminator who acted human wearing a leather coat would be helping a man up off the ground, but whatever.

"Will be in a minute." He lets Marcus help him up. "The worst's over, I just need painkillers."

The man nods and helps him off the ground. "Great. I'll see if I can find some for you, stranger?"

"What's your name? I'm Marcus."

[jonathanparagon]

"Bar should be able to supply", he offers, not sure how new the man is. "I'm Jonathan."

Marcus nods and holds out his hands "Nice to meet you, Jonathan".

I came about a few weeks ago, so... yeah i believe i'm still new to the bar.

"You too." He shakes hands, then turns towards Bar. "I don't think I've seen you before?"

Marcus nods "Believe me, I haven't met a lot of folks here."

[jonathanparagon]

He nods, and regrets it.

"You been given the orientation talk?"

[anewhero]

*nods* Yeah, i have..

[jonathanparagon]

"Good." He gets painkiller pills from Bar, dry-swallowing them. "It's a lot to take in at first."

It can be. Seems like anything and everything happens here. The one thing I don't need or want happening here is... Skynet or a terminator busting in here.

"They'd have to abide by the rules", Jonathan points out. "If they didn't, they'd find a lot of trouble coming down on them."
