The Door opens. A reddish half-grown standard poodle puppy dashes through, followed by a length of leash, followed by YT. The puppy is totally psyched to SNIFF ALL THE THINGS, and YT has to make a determined effort to avoid being dragged around on the end of the leash.

"Stella! Stella, heel," YT instructs.

The puppy - Stella - complies, albeit with a big dose of guilt-inducing Sad Puppy Eyes. YT gives it a couple of seconds, then starts walking around the perimeter of the room, gently tugging the leash to indicate that Stella should come with her. It's only fair to let Stella sniff things, but she has to behave herself and do it on YT's terms. Which means no, Stella, you can't chew on the elf dolls.

YT herself is dressed festively in - from the feet up - ankle-high faux-fur-lined boots, jeans, and an ugly Christmas sweater with an unbuttoned red trench coat over it. The coat has lots of pockets, just the way YT likes it, but most of them are hidden. YT's also wearing a backpack with various Christmas gifts for her Milliways pods.

Messing with people is one of YT's favorite hobbies, although she is relatively gentle when doing it to/with friends. The key word being relatively.

His innocent face might be more compelling if it weren't eerily similar to the innocent face Gabumon makes whenever he's caught playing a joke on somebody.

Yeah, YT noticed that. "Pro tip: don't rely on Gabumon to teach you how to do a poker face."

YT doesn't know who he should rely on instead, but Gabumon is definitely not the guy/Digimon.

"How do you know I didn't teach Gabumon my poker face?" Yamato asks. "Or we could both have developed it naturally in isolation."

"Because that face looks better on Gabumon than it does on you, you dip," YT says, with a conspiratorial wink at Gabumon.

Gabumon grins toothily, rubbing the back of his head shyly.

"Okay, that's enough ego-boosting for you for one day," Yamato says, offering Gabumon his arm. Gabumon clambers up it, settling onto his shoulders. Yamato waits until he's settled before standing. "Thanks for the scarves, YT."

"Arf!" Stella says.
