It's probably not that often that one goes to the bar for some peace and quiet, but with a house still full of guests, Bonnie has taken the time to bring baby Billie here for a quiet walk around.
She deposits the nearly six month old baby on the floor in front of the Christmas tree while she deposits various knitted bits and bobs. Little warm mittens for Teja's little boy and Guppy's kids, and for little Rae. For big Rae, Autor, Jay, Pearse and Sam there are warm woolly hats. Emcee's already got his jumper, hopefully it'll be enough to help keep him warm for his journey.
"Mama!" Billie points in delight to a sparkly bauble.
"Hm? Oh yes, that's real pretty." Bonnie smiles a little distractedly, scooping her back up again to show her all the other pretty baubles.

Jay, on the other side of the room, looks up at the sound and smiles to see who Ringo's taking to.

Billie reaches out to grab at the floaty bauble.
"No touchin' honey."

Ringo buzzes happily and hovers in front of Billie, making bright little sounds, like a giggle.

"Not in yer mouth, he won't like that."

Ringo vibrates warmly in Billie's chubby little hands, purring happily.

"You've raised 'em well. Like yer own children." she says.
Billie giggles at Ringo.

He gets up and hold his arms out to Billie. "And how are you doing, sweetheart?"

"She enjoyed Christmas." Bonnie says. "Liked playin' in the boxes and wrappin' paper best." Fortunately.
She swallows hard suddenly. Lucky Billie wasn't old enough to pick up on all the tension. She just hopes the other kids didn't.

"I'm okay." She says, but it sounds tight and unconvincing. Part of her wants to tell him, part of her is ashamed, but all of her isn't ready to be overheard by anyone else.
Billie, watching her mum, stops smiling and looks worried.

Billie looks between the two of them, still a little suspiciously, then tries to put Ringo in her mouth again.

"Billie, you got to be careful with the drones."

"Thanks. I got a lot to think about, is all, you don't need to worry."
