Fry has been to the bar to collect a straw hat and his disposable camera. It took him a few minutes to work out how to operate it. Where's the screen? Where's the on button or the delete button?

He takes a moment to check on the dog he's supposed to be watching. Oh, apparently there's been dog vomit today. Well, he's not clearing that up, it's not in his job role. The dog has a tag on its collar that clearly states not to feed it.

The dog is asleep at the moment, so Fry wanders around looking for someone who he can persuade to wear the hat.

Autor approaches, hat and camera in hand. "Hello, Fry. Would you like to take a picture of me in the hat?"

"Yes please." Fry says, handing him the hat. "We could do a picture trade."

Autor places the hat on his head with all the dignity he can muster up. "A picture trade would be great, thanks," he says, offering Fry the hat Autor brought. "How do I look?"

"You look like you are wearing a hat." Fry says, taking the photograph.

Autor stays as still as he can for the picture, not smiling as is the custom in his time. "That makes sense," he says, nodding thoughtfully once Fry takes the photo. "Your turn."

Fry checks the hat for nits, then puts it on. He doesn't smile either, but then he doesn't usually smile for photos.

Autor presses the button on the disposable camera, and it flashes, indicating that it has taken the picture. "Ah, sorry, I don't know how to turn the flash off. What were you checking the hat for?"

Fry squeaks when the flash goes off, so the picture might be a bit blurry. It'll still count.

"Nits." he says. "I check all hats for nits."

"I see," Autor says, nodding thoughtfully. "I should start doing that. How are you, Fry? How's school been?"

"Peter ran away." Fry says. "But they found him."

"Who's Peter?" Autor says, furrowing his brow. "One of your friends?"

"He's in my class. I don't think he has any friends really." Fry says.

"Well, maybe you should befriend him," Autor says, tilting his head. "If you want to. Why did he run away?"

"His mum and dad split up ages ago and he hates both his step families." Fry says. "So he ran away because he wants to live with his nan."

"That's terrible," Autor says, frowning fiercely. "He sounds like he needs some serious help. I'm glad they found him. Thankfully, it's not your responsibility to deal with his issues."

"Yeah, Miss Havisham said he was going to stay with his grandma until they sorted it out." Fry says.

"Well, I hope that works out for him," Autor says, adjusting his glasses. "How's the rest of your class? Anything else dramatic going on?"

"We're doing our play." Fry says. That's very dramatic, because it's drama.

"Oh, a play," Autor says, thoroughly impressed. "Which play is it? And what part do you play?"

"It's the Lion King and I'm Young Simba." Fry says. "And Gil gets to be Newborn Simba."

"Well, that's great," Autor says, tilting his head. "I've never heard of the Lion King. What's it about?"

"It's about a lion who is going to be the king and then his evil uncle chases him away and then he comes back."

"Interesting," Autor says, raising his brows. "Does he make friends along the way?"

"Yeah, with a warthog and a... prairie dog of some sort."

"A warthog?" Autor says, furrowing his brow. "I suppose that makes sense, given that he's a lion. And this lion, he's Simba?"
