Milliways is helping with healing more than Cassian expected, he can get work done, rest and not be lectured by medics about how he's doing too much. Today he's decided to explore the garage, he's still being careful with his arm and when he gets down to the main floor stares.
He's never seen this variety of vehicles, not even when he's been on the bigger Imperial bases. Slowly he makes his way down the center, searching for familiar lines and ends up in front of what seems like a line of every starfighter model, in the distance there looks like a Star Destroyer painted in Republic colors.
After trying to take it all in, he finds a landspeeder and sits on it, pulling out his datapad and noting what's here. If any of these are working and there was a way to transport them, they could provide a base for a fleet or if not, he could take parts and keep everything running longer.

Then his arm protests and he rests his healing arm on his datapad as he says, "Hello, are you Jay?"

They seem like helpful droids and he relaxes slightly.

"Yeah, it's not a small space. If you ever want to go deep exploring, drop by first. I have maps out to a certain distance and trackers so you can find your way back. It's easy to get lost out there."

He points towards the starfighters and other ships from his world.

"So what can I help you with?"

He notices the wince but doesn't comment. "These are ground vehicles. Motorbikes. I found a source of vintage bikes I've been doing up to sell on." He spins the wrench in his hand absently. "Keeps me busy."

Not a style that he's really seen before but seem like they could get some speed.

He smile at the complement. "1952 Norton civilian Big 4." He says with some pride. "Pig of a bike to ride but nothing stops them. They just keep rolling, year after year. Pity this one got neglected so long." There's a rusted out tank on the bench next to the bike. "Still, won't take much to get her going again."

Which is why he doesn't manage to actually stop the bike until he's a good couple hundred yards past Cassian. He turns it around, and comes back at a much more casual pace.
"Hey," he says, friendly enough, using his foot as an impromptu kickstand when he's close. "I don't know you."

His vehicle isn't familiar but the man looks like he could be from Cassian's world.

He laughs, a little, "I'd appreciate hearing about it. This place is a mess to find things in. Chuck Hansen."
no subject
That sounds like something from the Clone Wars and to be avoided. Cassian sits up straighter and winces as his arm protests, his left sleeve is slightly larger than his right with the bacta patches close to his skin.

This isn't really true. Chuck is basically an expert at this point. But these things are state secrets -- at least around guys who haven't said anything about themselves.

"See the tallest almost head there. That's an AT-At."

It has to do with the weight distribution.
