Rather unusually, Enzo may be found in the kitchen for an hour or two this afternoon, in human form. He's trying out a few different recipes, all of which involve both peanut butter and sugar.

You may also find him in the main bar later, in his usual shade of green, with the results of his efforts laid out on a table along with a pitcher of milk. A text window reads:

Whenever Clementine sees free food, she takes it. Call it the result of growing up poor, call it a side-effect of growing up with brothers who were permahungry; either way, she loves to eat.

Within seconds of Enzo setting up she has a plate piled with goodies. She speaks to him with a full mouth.

"The brownies need more chocolate, man."

Note: all of Clementine's experiences with brownies involve weed butter.

"Hey, Clem." Enzo makes a note, to compared to any other feedback and Dani's known preferences. "Are they okay besides that?"

He pours her a glass of milk. She will likely need it.

"Oh yeah - they're...really brownie-like. The cookies are really fuckin' amazing too!"


She thankfully seizes up the milk and glugs down most of it in one gulp.

"Thanks! Dani's got finals, I'm testing recipes for morale snacks."

"Ah, trying to butter up your girl, huh?" Clem is fondly amused.

[a1enzo]

"I'm not buttering her up," Enzo says with some indignation. "I'm supporting her. I can't help a lot with the actual studying except with flash cards, so I'm making comfort food. For her, that means peanut butter."

"All right, all right!" She shakes her head fondly. Clem being Clem, it's hard for her to get the whole supportive relationship thing, even though she's in one, and even though she took many a class in order to score one for herself. "So this is it for her, huh? Final exams?"

[a1enzo]

"Well, that's it for undergrad. She's gonna be going for a library science degree."

[hey35andholding]

"Ohh." Her nose wrinkles. "What's that mean in your world?"

[a1enzo]

"Well, it's not in my world, it's in hers, she's already a hero format in my world, but we'd usually call it an archivist. My mom was one."

A most excellent and admirable function.

[hey35andholding]

"Well, I didn't know that!" She points out cheerfully enough. Then, with some forethought, "have you guys talked about how you're gonna handle the whole two-worlds-one-cup thing?"

[a1enzo]

"Pretty much how we are now. Get an apartment in each world, set up the portal between them, and together they should be enough room even if each one's small by itself."

[hey35andholding]

"Now that's what I call a long distance relationship." she tilts her beer in his direction approvingly, as if tilting a cap.

[a1enzo]

"The wedding's next May, by the way. Can I trust you to behave yourself at the reception?"

[hey35andholding]

"I'm not THAT much of an asshole, I promise," she says. "I'll even bring Sam along."

[a1enzo]

"Awesome. You might want to come to the Earth wedding, then, unless he's comfortable with being digitized. You're welcome at both if you want, of course, but then you'd have to sit through two ceremonies."

[hey35andholding]

"I'll have to ask him about that. He might get a kick out of being digitized," she shrugs. Sam's adventurous, after all. She shrugged. "And it MIGHT be fun to do both - I'll let you know."

They may freeload food, but they'll be there!
