[[OOC: Thanks -- that was intentional. It's the Force being in a hurry, you might say. The kind of ruthless almost-entity that, say, established 'balance' by getting the entire Light Side slaughtered, or protected Chirrut on his way to the master switch and dropped him like a hot potato once he had done his part. It's not a benign thing at all, and we're trying to show that underneath the POV of our two characters -- Galen being faithful and accepting, and Bodhi being sceptical and just personally in love. We are almost saying so in so many words in the instalment called 'Necessary Pebbles', which is actually why we named the entire series that -- you probably already saw that on AO3? So yes, excellently spotted -- that was the entire point. Sorry for this auctorial rant, though; I should let the text speak for itself. Shutting up now]]
