A 30 something year old Sonya doesn't so much enter the bar as stagger inside. Her heavy boots are lined with rubber to keep them from making too much noise, and while she got rid of her body armor, she's yet to remove her elbow pads and gloves. She's also yet to remove the black grease paint smirked on her face.
It's been a long mission, so her overall gait is on autopilot, and it takes her a moment to realize that she's actually not inside the women's showers on base-she's not even on base. There's a second longer before she can even recall the why and how.
"Milliways..really?"
How long had it been? Months..a year? The scenery was different than she remembered, but then..this was milliways-unless one of the Junior officers somehow managed to switch an entire Bar where the womans' showers were. She was grateful whatever it was the case.
Fifteen minutes later finds her at one of the tables, her hair brushed and pulled back into a ponytail. She's tried to wash off the black paint from her face, but a close look would show there's still a smudge or two. At the moment though, all that's on her mind is trying to enjoy a plate of bacon and eggs and a cup of coffee.
It's breakfast time somewhere.
