Steve Rogers is out in the forest, throwing the shield against trees at various angles so that it bounces off and flies back to him, also at various angles.
It's quite a workout, if the grunts are anything to go by.

Right up until a flying metal disc cuts through the gap between two trees at the far, far end of the "range" and Sahaal's training kicks in. A three round burst of explosive bolt shells rip through the branches around the red, white and blue projectile, and kick up a mixture of shrapnel and bits of bark. The disc just keeps on going, hits a willow tree, and bounces back the way it came.
Sahaal follows, a look of confusion on his face.

Huh. Interesting choice of weapon. Not that Danny hasn't seen a wide variety of weapon, both intended and improvised.
Approaching even closer, he calls out, "You're very good with that."

"Thanks!"
He rises and puts the shield in a harness on his back. "It's put away now."

He hears the grunting and decides to check it out.

Not wanting to interrupt someone's training, which is a very serious thing. He stands and watches Steve.

He catches the shield and comes to a stop, and puts the shield away in a harness on his back. "Hi, there."

"Hello" he greet, quite impressed at the mans skill.
"Your having a good workout." both a statement and question.
Clay has a strong southern accent to go with his bulging muscles.

"You can never have too much practice.
"Steve Rogers. Earth, 2015."

"Clay, Earth, 2014."
"Your strong." he couldn't help but notice and he isn't the best at social interactions with new people, but he is trying here.

"The man who invented the formula was murdered shortly after the experiment on me. People have tried to recreate the formula, but ... with varying degrees of success."

Clay is trying to figure out a way to nuanced way to work away to his questions but that is Nick's strength so he just blurts out, "Do you want to spar?"
Because Clay needs to spar with someone he isn't concerned with injuring.
