Jay comes in through his door, holding it propped open with a kit bag while he ferries several other bags in and dumps them on a table.

The view through the open door is of a jungle, green and humid with a sluggish muddy river flowing slowly. Jay bounces down the gangway of a houseboat till all his belongings are off the boat and inside the bar.

Time to repack and move on.

Amanda has been there. "Need a hand?" she offers.

"Thanks." Jay nods, throwing her a smile. "Should only be one more load of stuff. Never realise how much you have till you have to pack."

She smiles, "Tell me about it." she smiles. "Though I keep the most important items here." just hoping her door never closes for good.

[runningred]

"I started out in Cambodia with just the essentials but I've been there over a year. I might have taken a few things back with me from the bar. Just tools and the such." He invites her onto the boat, passing over a bag and doing a last check of the cupboards to make sure he hasn't left anything behind.

Amanda nods as she grabs the bag and placing on the other-side of the door. "Isn't that always the way." she chuckles.

"But it's time to be moving on." He nods, gesturing her out onto the deck as he locks up behind them. "The friend I was minding it for will be back soon."

She follows his instructions.

"Do you know where you are headed or are you going to take time in Milliways to figure it out?" because she's done that alot.

[runningred]

"Hong Kong. I think." Jay heads back down the ramp, picking up another couple of bags and a box of tools. "I've got a safehouse there. A dead drop. I suspect my brother may have left me messages there."

"I love Hong Kong. So much to do." and so many contacts. Probably best she stays away.

[runningred]

"I haven't been back there for a few years. It'll be interesting to see how much it's changed."

[immortalthief]

"I imagine quiet a bit. That's one of the things I love about Hong Kong."

[runningred]

"How long since you've been there?" He stands back to let her through the door, like a gentleman, closing it behind them.

"It's been a few decades." she answers as she walks through the door.

"Yourself?"

"Aha, just the man." Bonnie says, coming to help Jay with his stuff.

[runningred]

"Am I now?" Jay grins, giving her a peck on the cheek. "How are you, love?"

[is_the_motion]

"I'm good thanks, I was just wonderin' if you would like to come to mine fer dinner." Bonnie says, pecking him back.

"Ted wants to talk to you, he won't tell me what it's about, but he says it's nothin' bad."

[runningred]

"Any time, just let me know when." Jay promises. "I hope I can help."

"Well yer welcome tonight, but you look a little busy." Bonnie says.

[runningred]

"Give me half hour to stash this stuff in my room and get cleaned up and I'm all yours. I'm in no hurry."

[is_the_motion]

"Wonderful. You look like you've had a day where you don't need to be cookin'." Bonnie adds. "Want help carrying this lot upstairs?"

[runningred]

"A home-cooked meal is the best idea I've heard all day." He grins. "Please?" He passes her one or two of the lighter bags.

She takes the bags, puts them in one hand, and grabs a heavier one in the other.

"Where have you been?"

[runningred]

"Just backing up from Cambodia. Time to be moving one. I didn't realise how much stuff I'd taken with me from the bar till I started packing up."

[is_the_motion]

"It sounds like you did real good work there." Bonnie says.

[runningred]

"We did good. The flip on those bikes you did up set up those villages with twice as many new bikes and start-ups to teach people how to look after them. You did that too."

Doesn't hurt that it will also keep Bonnie and her family in the black for a good long while.
