The circle of chairs is... not in the bar today, instead there's a sign.

Out on the beach, there is a circle of deckchairs. It's too nice weather today to waste inside. There's also a yummy picnic, and a thermos of tea.

"Take as many as you like." Guppy says, putting one on a stick and toasting it. "We have plenty."

There's a picnic, too. She remembers those, but they make her kind of sad so she ignores it in favour of more sugar.

"Is that safe?"

"Toasting them? Sure, so long as you blow it out and let it cool before you eat it." Guppy says.

"I don't know." It seems that she's mostly afraid of getting that close to the fire.

"Do they taste good like that?"

[guppy_sandhu]

"Yeah, they're gooey. Do you want me to toast one for you to show you?"

[manythorned]

Rose shuffles her feet a bit in the sand and looks up with a shy smile. "Yes. Please."

[guppy_sandhu]

Guppy carefully toasts her marshmallow, making sure not to set it on fire so he doesn't have to blow on it, then hands the stick over to her.

"Careful, it's hot. Blow on it first to cool it."

She takes the stick carefully, but also with the ease of someone who has experience holding pointy objects. Then she blows as instructed before taking a small bite.

A huge smile spreads across her face.

"You like it?"

[manythorned]

"It's awesome!" She nods, taking another bite.

[guppy_sandhu]

"Plenty more where that came from. Do you want to toast the next one?"

[manythorned]

Still wary, "Do I have to?"

[guppy_sandhu]

"No, I can help if you like?"

[manythorned]

Rose nods. "That would be nice."

[guppy_sandhu]

Guppy toasts a couple more for her.

"Are you not keen on fire?"

[manythorned]

"No," she answers quietly. Once you've been set on fire it tends to leave an impression.

That makes sense.

Guppy toasts lots of them for her.

"I'm Guppy, what's your name?"
