The circle of chairs is... not in the bar today, instead there's a sign.

Out on the beach, there is a circle of deckchairs. It's too nice weather today to waste inside. There's also a yummy picnic, and a thermos of tea.

There is a Guppy, over there, prodding the fire.

"Hey, Guppy!" calls Enzo. He snags a suitable stick and impales four marshmallows at once.

"Hey Enzo, how's things?" Guppy asks, grinning at him.

"Pretty good! How about you? Any more snake incidents?"

"No, thank goodness." Guppy says, smiling. "I'm sure one day we'll look back and laugh..."

(Next Tuesday, perhaps.)

"So, I've got a question for you. Two questions, really."

"Fire away." Guppy says.

"Dani and I are getting married in a little under a year. First question, how'd you like to be a groomsman?"

"Oh, I would be honoured." Guppy grins broadly. "Thanks. Do you have a best man I need to liaise with about your stag do?"

"Two of them, technically, but for the Earth wedding it's Hellboy."

Guppy can be trusted to run damage control, right? ;-)

"I'll make sure you don't end up tied to a lamp post." Guppy says.

So long as nobody gets him drunk, in which case he might be the one tied to a post.

"I'd appreciate that."

He really would.

"Second question, also re the wedding, we don't really know any little kids in Dani's world, so can we borrow yours?"

"So long as it's safe for them to transform into whatever form they need to, and I'm with them, yes." Guppy says. "What do you want them to do?"

"Rings and flowers. Only if they want to, of course. No transformation necessary, they'd be in the Earth wedding too. You can attend the one in Mainframe too if you want, but we've got my nieces for that."

"Might be easier if we stick to the Earth one." Guppy nods. "But if you need me to help out at the Mainframe one let me know."

He smiles. "The kids will be all over that. Though... Gil might want to wear the same as the girls if they're in something very pretty, would that be okay?"

Sandhu flower squad!

"I don't see why not! Though we're having a beach wedding, so it's not gonna be super fancy. Not the usual way, anyway. Probably nice sundresses, that kind of thing."

"Thanks." Guppy is slightly relieved - there's one future toddler meltdown averted. "I'm sure Gil will appreciate that. What colour do you want them to wear?"

"Mint green or lavender. I'll get you swatches."

"Ooh, sounds great." Guppy says. "I'll see what we can find."

"Awesome. Thanks, Guppy," says Enzo.

Then he attempts to stuff four well-toasted marshmallows into his mouth at once.

Guppy laughs. Nice to see Enzo making the most of bachelor life.
