The circle of chairs is... not in the bar today, instead there's a sign.

Out on the beach, there is a circle of deckchairs. It's too nice weather today to waste inside. There's also a yummy picnic, and a thermos of tea.

"You found droids here?"

"The call themselves drones, but are still very helpful, with a lot of personality," Galen says.

"Ah, Jay's?"

"Yes, that is his name," Galen says. "He's found me tools as well. I can work now."

"What are you working on?"

"A small irrigation system for our balcony," Galen says.

"That's nice. You know you can garden outside too?"

"Oh yes, I saw a red-headed little girl do so," Galen says, thinking of Jyn with a pang of guilt.

"That must be Rae." Guppy says.

"Yes, I think that was her name," Galen says. "She was growing Earth vegetables I had never heard of."

"You have different vegetables? Well I suppose that makes sense."

"We're from a different part of the universe, after all, and eating habits are different," Galen says.

"Yeah, but you'd think if humans could evolve on so many worlds so would carrots and stuff."

"We didn't," Galen says. "We colonised them. Natives of other worlds are by definition non-human; however, convergent evolution demands that many of them are quite similar."

"Across all universes? Seems too much of a coincidence."

"No, just across our galaxy," Galen says. "I don't know about other universes, not even other galaxies. We never got away from ours."

"There are many other worlds here, and they almost all seem to have humans."

"I can't account for other worlds," Galen says. "Near parallel realities in near parallel worlds, probably."

Guppy nods.

"You're a philosophical sort?"

"At some stage, a scientist will have to meddle with philosophy to understand the complexity of the world," Galen says. "Also, in my universe, the Force is very real, so the rest of it comes rather easily."

"Oh yes, I know of the Force." Guppy says, with a nod. "There are many here who use it."

"Have you met the two Guardians of the Whills?" Galen asks. "Chirrut and Baze?"

"Er, briefly?" Guppy says.

"Did they make trouble for you?" Galen asks.

"No, why?"
