[run_barry]

When Barry walks into Milliways and sees the transformation of the place his face splits into a wide grin.

"Sweet."

After checking himself over and finding no apparent changes, costume or otherwise, he heads for the counter.

"Hey Bar, what's going on?"

The screen that appears makes his grin widen further.

"For real? Awesome."

After reading over the explanations and rules very carefully he swipes over to the first offered reconfiguration. When he sees what it is there's no need to go any further.

"A robot cheetah? Are you serious?"

The change happens in an eye-blink and Barry is soon marveling at his new sleek and metallic form.

Perhaps a wiser, or less enthusiastic, person would wait until they were outside to give their new form a test run, but Barry refrains from such and immediately punches it.

The result is a spotted form streaking across the bar and slamming into a setup of Lego table and chairs with a loud, "MROW--AUGH!" followed thereafter by an, "Ow."

"Yeah, I think by the design it was build by... well, my foster father. Couldn't resist the urge to take it for a joy-ride."

"Alive, huh? Was it a big-ass egg-shaped thing?"

[run_barry]

"Why the heck would he build a tank?" 'B' really did sound like a crazy person.

"No. It was gigantic and black. And there was slime. And mist. It was a little creepy."

"Because he has issues." Jay shrugs, cornering up towards the top of the mountain.

"Ew, yeah no. I think I'll pass on that."

[run_barry]

Barry feels it wisest to make no comment, so instead he circles back to another point in the conversation. "So yeah, there's a door, huh? What would happen if he took the thing into space, though? I mean, we're supposed to be at the end of the universe here."

For all his questions about the place Barry has never really ever gotten any satisfactory, scientific answers for them about the place, where it's at or how it works.

('Magic' totally doesn't count.)

"The technology was fascinating, but the ship was kinda gross."

[runningred]

"Not a clue. That's kinda why I want to find out. Someone suggested to me that Milliways is actually a self contained asteroid. I'd love to know if that's true."

[run_barry]

Barry considers that and nods.

"That does make some sense, I guess, but if that is the case I wouldn't suggest trying to leave the containment. Especially if what's outside the big window is actually outside the window. Y'know?"

[runningred]

"The bar has its own physics protecting the patrons. No-one can get lost in the forest for too long. Things like that. I'm pretty sure it wont let anyone get sucked into a black hole or minced by whatever it is outside that window."

[run_barry]

"Maybe you're right. And it would be cool to see what's up there." He turned his head to look up, smiling.

[runningred]

Jay brings them out onto a ridge with a great view back down to the bar and the lake, pausing to enjoy the view. "Always something new to learn here."

[run_barry]

Barry comes to a stop and looks out over the view, smiling.

"Yeah. The place is nuts, but at the same time, it's pretty great."

[runningred]

Jay nods back towards the bar. "Race you down?"

Turning towards Jay, Barry gives a smirk.

"You're on."
