Hannibal breakfast
Dr. Hannibal Lecter's breakfast today is chocolate themed.
Hand-roasted honeyed oats with cocoa nibs under a chocolate cream, coffee spiced with raw cocoa and cardamom, and finally a few lovely dark pancakes with cranberry preserve.
He is eating slowly, and savouring every bite.
[[OOC: Warning: among the pancakes are veriohukaiset as well as chocolate pancakes, so beware of stealing them!]]

Spotting Dr. Lecter, she smiles and waves.

And smells amazing. Chocolate for breakfast? Her mother would disapprove so hard.
"You looked like you were having a good Cubefall, last time I saw you," Rae grins at him. "Did you have fun?"

Sunshine tries the cereal (chocolate! for breakfast!) and makes a pleased sound of enjoyment. "Oh wow, that's delicious."

'Hello, Hannibal.'
He's also strumming a lute which looks really old and also brand new, and appears quite pleased with the world.

He strums a bit more, amused.
'I thought more playing modern music, just on an authentically fifteenth century instrument. See what happens.'
It might be great, might be terrible, who knows?

Is he bothered? He is not.
'What're you eating. You can smell it across the bar.'
Damnit, now he has to strum Stairway, and he only knows the first eight bars.

And he hasn't heard Teja's version, but he's willing to lump it into the 'mostly terrible' category until presented with evidence to the contrary.
He shakes his head.
'Still not hungry. And I've never been a big fan of black pudding, no matter what country it comes from. Though I get why you like it.'

He knows the smell of blood quite intimately, and didn't expect to smell it in a place like this, over breakfast. It gets his attention, and he turns mid-step towards Hannibal, brows gently creasing above the dark glasses he wears.
"Blood and pancakes. That's a combination."

Pause.
"I don't believe I have met you before?"
no subject
"You haven't. I haven't been here very many times before I'm afraid I don't know many people. Just one or two."
